Yangaro’s luxury villas are ideally located in the pristine Funnel Bay, just moments from the beach at the gateway to the spectacular Whitsundays. You’ll be a 10-minute drive from the famous Airlie Beach and near boat docks that can take you to iconic sites like the Great Barrier Reef. The private estate is approximately a 40-minute drive from Whitsunday Coast Airport (PPP), or alternatively, you can fly into Hamilton Island and arrive by ferry, with Yangaro just a 10-minute drive from Port of Airlie. Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Valid for travel from 1 October 2024 until 31 October 2025 (bookings must be made before 31 August 2025).

Blackout Dates & Surcharges: A non-refundable surcharge per room, per night may apply, payable at the time of booking. Dates and prices are identified in the Booking Calendar. Blackout dates may apply.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

  • Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service one date change in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please Note:

  • Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
  • The welcome breakfast hamper includes pastries, cereals, bread and juices.
  • Use of the Clubhouse wellness facilities is limited to one two-hour session per day, per group. Bookings are required in advance.
  • Clubhouse wellness facilities feature a fitness centre with a bouldering wall, jacuzzi, cabanas, saltwater pool, relaxation lounge, bathrooms and showers.
  • The thermal therapy session is 90 minutes per person, with six sessions per villa.
  • Thermal therapy includes access to a sauna, steam room and cold plunge. All sessions must be booked together in one time slot.
  • The included spa credit (select packages) must be redeemed during your stay.
  • Any unused voucher will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Spa treatments require a booking.
  • One credit is valid for one treatment.
  • Two of the king beds in the Aqua villa can be split into twin king single beds. A sofa bed is also available on request in the villa’s studio room.

***Bed Bugs*** My family and I were very excited to stayed at Yangaro in January for the first time. We stayed in the Aqua House for 9 days. After a couple of days we started waking up every morning with small itchy red bites. We arrived home and continued being bitten. A pest control company came out and confirmed we had indeed brought bed bugs back with us. I contacted Yangaro straight away to let them know however they denied it being a possibility. It took over six weeks to rid our house of the infestation. Our bedrooms had to be completely emptied of contents and sprayed three times to a cost of $1400; hundreds of dollars spent on dry cleaning and purchasing new blankets, pillows and quilts; ridiculously expensive water bills due to washing every piece of clothing and soft furnishings in each bedroom. We won’t return to Yangaro and I am unsure if the house we stayed in was treated for the infestation or not. I didn’t ask for compensation and wasn’t expecting anything from Yangaro other than an acknowledgement that they would investigate and treat the Aqua house. We were disappointed that no responsibility was taken by Yangaro. Beware and if any small, itchy bites should appear, pack your clothes in plastic bags and leave!!
