Villa La Valencia staff made our vacation. We stayed for 2.5 weeks and could not have been better. Karla, with activity staff, is so kind, welcoming, and engaging. Enrique in activity staff is hilarious, entertaining, and a blast to do activities with. Rain or shine, Marcos in the pool service staff was phenomenal and made us feel very taken care of. He welcomed us each time we showed up at the pool and never let us go untended. We will be back (hopefully soon!) and hope to see the friends we made with Enrique, Karla, and Marcos next time. Thank you for the fantastic experience

This was the first time my little family and I stayed here and we are beyond pleased with our stay! The property is absolutely gorgeous, well maintained, super clean, lots to do, and has amazing views of the ocean and pool areas. We had such great experience, the staff all treated you like family and are so cheerful and accommodating. We were especially impressed and so thankful for making our stay just a little extra special to Rey, Adriana, Josefina, Yovany, Jocelyn, Jose Luis, Beatrice, Maria and Marcos. The food is excellent especially the poke bowl that I ate every day and the rooms are very high end, gorgeous, spacious and the beds are comfortable. We will definitely be back again and again!!!! totally recommend 👌🏼 👍🏼

This resort is clean, beautiful, and kid-friendly. The service was exceptional. Christian from reception was very professional and accommodating. David, Karla, and Enrique were great at coordinating activities and making sure we were having fun. Unless you do the all-inclusive option here, it’s not worth it. The dinners were $400-$500 for 3 people and lunch was $150 without all-inclusive. Also, something to know is that the ocean view rooms face the ocean but the doors face the street and it’s a busy highway so if you pay more for an ocean view you will also get street noise. My wife and I loved this resort and our 2 year old keeps asking to go back. Highly recommend!

I am a UVCI member, and like many other guests I’ve spoken to during this trip, I was transferred to Villa La Valencia due to renovations at Villa del Palmar (Cabo). To begin with, I want to emphasize that this resort is stunning. The property is new, the rooms are immaculate, and I especially appreciated details such as the waterfall shower and heated toilet seats. The staff have also been wonderful—consistently attentive and going above and beyond to provide excellent service. That being said, this resort did not meet my expectations, nor does it compare to Villa del Palmar. My partner and I had specifically booked a studio at Villa del Palmar with a full kitchen, as we did not plan to participate in the all-inclusive meal plan. The studio we were placed in at Villa La Valencia, however, only included a microwave and a very small refrigerator that could barely fit a few beverage cans. In addition, Villa del Palmar offered a swimmable beach and numerous water activities, whereas Villa La Valencia does not. While the lazy river here is a nice feature, the resort overall feels limited in terms of activities. Many listed evening events were cancelled or replaced (often with karaoke), and most facilities close by 10 p.m. There are also gaps during the day when all restaurants are closed, and nearly all dinner venues require reservations. This lack of flexibility and entertainment options made the resort feel quite dull at times. For my family, the resort also felt a bit too formal and quiet. Fortunately, we had rented a car—something I would highly recommend, as the property is located midway between the two main cities. Without a car, transportation is inconvenient and costly (approximately $25 CAD per Uber ride to either downtown). Renting a car allowed us to explore nearby beaches and find activities in the surrounding towns. In summary, while Villa La Valencia is beautiful and ideal for guests seeking a relaxing, poolside atmosphere with drinks in hand, it is not well-suited for travellers looking for variety, flexibility, or activity-filled vacations.
