We had a great stay at Vibe Hotel North Sydney! The room was nice and spacious – it didn’t feel cramped at all. The location is super convenient, close to the train station and plenty of food options. The service was excellent too – when our little one wet the bed, they brought up fresh sheets right away with no fuss. Really appreciated how quick and helpful the staff were. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a good stay overall at the Vibe Hotel in North Sydney. Our room was on the ninth floor — spacious and clean, with friendly staff at reception. However, the room wasn’t very soundproof, and we could clearly hear the street noise from inside, which made it difficult to sleep. I asked to change rooms, but unfortunately, that wasn’t possible. To make things worse, on Saturday night around 3:00 a.m., a group of guests were screaming and vomiting right outside our room. It was a very unpleasant experience and made it impossible to rest. The hotel has nice facilities and kind staff, but if you’re looking for a peaceful night’s sleep, this might not be the best option.

3 stars for inconsistent service level. The room was nice and the location convenient, and the daytime staff were welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, the night shift was a completely different story, unresponsive, dismissive, and unwilling to handle a standard guest request (nicely asked for some linen for the extra sofa bed; tried to call and had to go at the reception at 10pm as nothing was done). Got a heavily stained quilt delivered at 15pm with no linen, no apologies etc.). I followed up with an email, but never received a reply from management. A disappointing lack of consistency and care.

Not the best experience at this hotel. Room quite basic and scratched up in certain areas (doors etc), lots of stains on the carpet to the point where I felt uncomfortable walking on it barefoot. Outdoor pool is also advertised on their website as 'heated' (it was freezing). During our stay we were woken by the fire alarm twice on the first night (1am and 6am) and had to fully evacuate both times while waiting for the fire department as there was a fault and 'something had tripped the alarm'. Staff were very unhelpful during this event and there was very little communication. For most of our stay the lifts were not working either and you cannot use the stairwell as it's fire exit only. People were also trapped in the lift at one point while we were waiting to use it ourselves, and the fire department had to be called (AGAIN) to get them out! Unsure if there was some kind of issue with power outages during our stay to cause all of these problems but either way it's not acceptable for the price you're paying. Would not recommend at all which is a shame because the location is very good.
