Travelodge Hotel Melbourne Docklands is ideally situated in Melbourne’s bustling Docklands precinct, just a stone’s throw from Marvel Stadium and a short stroll from the vibrant city centre. The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and Royal Botanic Gardens are both within a 10-minute drive.

The hotel is located approximately a 30-minute drive from Melbourne International Airport (MEL). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

  • Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 45 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Quiet, clean and perfect for my needs. No room service but apparently people use uber now. There's a microwave, fridge, kettle and basic crockery and cutlery. I'd stay again. My only comment is they should give you a wee map how to get to southern cross station (which leads to the city) as there's a way and a very easy way which I discovered on the second day.

Room was very clean. More staff needed when hotel fully booked, and people standing outside the door to check in. Needed a third person checking in. The lovely male staff member was very efficient and was doing a great job. Pillows way too high. Bedding noisy when you move. The female staff member on checkout was a bit stand offish. Shower pressure great, loved space on bathroom benches. Tv would not work. Tried everything and gave up.

Great location right behind Southern Cross Station. Some restaurants and one small supermarket close by. Room cleaning lest much to be desired. Facility would be improved with a bar and simple restaurant.

Booked in for a two night stay. 13/9 and 14/9/25. Went to our room after check in. Went to have a shower and the shower rose end came completely off after turning on water. Called front desk to be told no maintenance on-site. So they shifted us to another room. Settled into our new room only to find a used expired 1/2 full milk container in the fridge. Milk had expired on the 10/9/25. Went down to front desk and gave it to them, obviously housekeeping hadn't done their job properly. Asked housekeeping for two extra pillows without feathers as allergic to them. Was given the pillows by housekeeping asked if they had no feathers was told no feathers. Upon inspection in room found one pillow was feathers the other wasnt. Placed feather pillow outside room in hallway. I mean if you don't have two just give one and say so. In the room bed was hard and not very comfortable but too tired needed sleep. Ended up staying here for the two nights we had booked, but next time will look at other accommodation choices. Very disappointed as we have stayed here previously.
