We stayed at the family villa. The room is very cozy, loved the wall arts. Although quit the place/room itself is quite outdated, it is a very spacious for the family. Also, very poor wifi connection (unless you're at the main reception!) Kid friendly, great playground and pool! The restaurant is disappointing as we find it overpriced for the serving size you get. The steak came well done when I stated medium-rare. Very long waiting time too. On the other hand, the staff are so accommodating and lovely. Their warmth is a joy! Love them! There's a shuttle to and from the airport, and its proximity is literally about 2mins away so very good place to spend the night if having the early flight!

First of all, I need to make it clear that we consider this hotel for a very short stay before we fly home. I would not spend a holiday here. So, please read the review keeping this in mind. The location is great for airport. Hotel has a free shuttle to the airport, which is very convenient. We spent a few hours at the hotel before we fly back to Dallas. The check in was easy and quick. We did not experience any rude receptionist. On the contrary, the ladies who did check in/out were very kind and respectful. The room was not very clean but not dirty either. Very basic with limited amenities which was okay with us. You can see that the room needs TLC and a serious renovation. There is a big swimming pool with a kiddy park. We tried the food there and to our surprise it was pretty decent, at least the burgers. I recommend this hotel for AT MOST one night if you need a place before heading home.

The pool and restaurant is nice and the staff is very friendly but we got the back cabin and it was like sleeping in a ZOO. The roosters, fireworks and the airplanes. The location is not great it’s right next to the airport😬

If you’re considering Tokatoka Resort Hotel for a family stay, think again. Our experience was appalling. The rooms weren’t cleaned during our stay, and towels were never replaced, forcing us to use damp, dirty ones, which is completely unacceptable for families. Their so-called free WiFi barely works and only allows two devices, making it impossible for a family to stay connected or keep children entertained. To make matters worse, after waiting more than 30 minutes, we were told they couldn’t even make coffee—a basic service that should never be an issue. The cocktails were watered-down and undrinkable, and overall, nothing lived up to what was advertised. The only thing remotely enjoyable was the pool, but even that was worn out and felt neglected. This is not a resort or a hotel suitable for families—it’s an uncomfortable, rundown motel. Save yourself the stress and book anywhere else
