The Waters Khao Lak is perfectly located for those seeking Thailand’s famous surf, sun and sand. In under five minutes on foot, guests can arrive in both Bang Niang township, home to bumping bars and shops, and Biang Niang beach, with its white sands and lapping blue waters. The unbelievable majesty of Khao Lak Lam Ru National Park and Khao Lak Waterfalls can be reached in 15 minutes by car. The hotel is located approximately a 90-minute drive from Phuket International Airport (HKT). Airport transfers are not available in your package, please plan accordingly.

Amazing value. We had a water access room so step out the back door and into the pool. The whole complex has been really well designed. No rooms adjoined ours as the rooms are built in blocks of 4, 2 up top, 2 down the bottom, with the stairwell and entrances in between. We hardly heard any noise from above either. Breakfast was ok, probably the only thing that let it down just a bit. It was more than acceptable tho. Just little things like yogurt was in a big bowl on ice so I wasn’t game to give that a go! But there was plenty of other choices, and hey we got the room really cheap so even if it had just been toast and cereal for breaky, it would have been good value! Great location, close to everything in Biang Niang, so easy to walk for meals and cocktails. Mini marts out the front, along with massage places and a tailor. Definitely recommend and hoping we will go back next year.

The resort is clean, the location is excellent. Breakfast included many options and the Amici restaurant was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely clean resort with the most friendly experienced staff, pool access rooms were amazing. So close to shops/ restaurants and the market. Only thing would be great if there was an Australian television channel in the room and had rooms that were separate to people who smoke.

A Relaxing Stay in a Great Location My wife and I recently spent 5 nights at The Waters Khao Lak by Katathani Collection and had a wonderful time. Our room was spacious, clean, and the pool access was a real highlight—such a luxury to step straight into the water from our terrace! The resort is in a great location, making it easy to explore Khao Lak’s bars, restaurants, and shops. The staff were outstanding—always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with anything we needed, which really added to the experience. One small hiccup during our stay was some initial confusion about the Splash Bar’s happy hour—we were told at check-in that it wasn’t offered, only to find out later that it was. It was a bit of a shame to miss out on that for the first couple of days. Additionally, while breakfast was enjoyable, the selection was on the smaller side and could benefit from a bit more variety. Overall, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay, and would happily return for another visit.
