There’s so much to do in Port Fairy including enjoying historic walks through the cottage and church-lined streets, cycling along seaside bike trails, horse riding along the beach and learning about the shipwrecks on a maritime tour. Ideally located a short walk from the beach, you can spend relaxing summer days by the ocean, soaking up the warm rays.
At low tide, you can watch swans, pelicans and shearwaters feeding on the mudflats or swim at one of the sheltered beaches, while nearby Griffith Island is home to small swamp wallabies and mutton birds which migrate each year from Alaska.
