The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort is situated on Redang Island, off the northeast coast of Malaysia. Surrounded by crystal-clear ocean waters, the island is home to some of the region’s best dive sites and spectacular marine life, including a turtle sanctuary.
Guests can access the resort by land transfer and a short boat ride from Kuala Terengganu Airport (Sultan Mahmud Airport, TGG). The resort provides return transfers from Kuala Terengganu Airport for approximately A$110 per person. Guests will be picked up from the airport by van transfer to the property and travel approximately 35 minutes to Merang Jetty and then catch a speedboat to Kg Redang Jetty. Transfers depart the airport for the jetty at 11.45am, 1.45pm and 3.45pm. Return journeys depart Kg Redang Jetty for the airport at 8.45am, 10.45am and 12.45pm.
Alternatively, guests may book a private charter flight from Subang Airport (SBZ) in Malaysia or Seletar Airport (XSP) in Singapore to Redang Island. Flights depart Tuesdays (from Subang Airport only), Fridays and Sundays with Berjaya Air, and include lounge access, 15kg checked backage per person, express boarding and on-board refreshments. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date.
