The hotel is located approximately a 25-minute drive from Cairns Airport (CNS). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Update 22 December 2025, 2.30pm AEDT: The Brigadiers Lounge, Wine Room and Reef House Restaurant will undergo a flooring upgrade from 14 January to 5 February 2026. During this period, the Wine Room and Brigadiers Lounge will be unavailable at certain times. Works will take place between 8am and 4pm, with the main period of noise occurring during the first two days. Guests will be allocated rooms away from these areas where possible. All other guest experiences, dining, spa and Signature Inclusions will continue as normal, and the resort will do the utmost to minimise disruption throughout.

Valid for travel until 31 March 2026 (bookings must be made before 31 January 2026).

Child Policy: Guests under 16 are not permitted and cannot be accommodated.

Compulsory Christmas Gala Dinner: For stays on 25 December, an additional surcharge of A$295 per adult (16+) applies for the compulsory Christmas Gala dinner. Payable directly to the hotel.

Compulsory New Year’s Gala Dinner: For stays on 31 December, an additional surcharge of A$295 per adult (16+) applies for the compulsory New Year’s Gala dinner. Payable directly to the hotel.

Blackout Dates & Surcharges: A non-refundable surcharge per room, per night may apply, payable at the time of booking. Dates and prices are identified in the Booking Calendar. Blackout dates may apply.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 45 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you are permitted ONE date change up until 45 days before your original check-in date. Please contact our 24/7 customer service team to enquire. Subject to availability and surcharges.

• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Dining credit must be used during your stay. No minimum spend applies. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Valid for use at Reef House Restaurant, poolside butler service and Brigadier Honesty Bar. Excluding room service.
• Each adult will receive a A$100 spa credit, with a minimum spend of A$250 per person required to redeem the spa credit. Redeemable only at Reef House Spa. Please present your proof of credit upon request of service. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer, discount or on public holidays. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
• Daily a la carte breakfast is served at Reef House Restaurant from 6.30am to 10am.
• Brigadier’s Bar & Lounge free-flow punch and canapes hour is from 5pm to 6pm nightly.
• Daily complimentary sorbet is served poolside at 3pm. Sorbet flavours vary daily.
• Guests must wear a helmet while on a bicycle as per Queensland law. The bikes are only available for use during daylight hours.
• All onsite activities and experiences are subject to seasonal changes.
• Please book all yoga, wine tasting and cocktail classes in advance with the hotel to avoid disappointment.
• Welcome souvenir in-room on arrival is a Reef House history book for guests to keep.
• Welcome gin cocktail consists of local Devil’s Thumb gin made using Daintree Rainforest Botanicals. Served with cranberry juice, lemon and Early Grey tea.
• Complimentary bottle of Pureza still and sparkling water provided in room on arrival and upon depature.
• Sleep Easy support guide is provided in-room on arrival, plus a selection of blogs, videos and audio files that explain the importance of sleep.
• ‘Reef House Mixology’ class runs Tuesdays and Fridays from 2pm to 2.45pm at Brigadier Lounge.
• Wine appreciation sessions run on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2pm to 3pm at Brigadier Bar & Lounge.
• Half-board upgrade includes a daily two-course a la carte dinner at Reef House Restaurant from 6pm to 8pm. Reservations are required.
• The New Year’s Eve and Christmas Gala Dinners offer a choice of a seafood or meat platter and a selected bottle of wine.
