Super new and cozy hotel! The rooms are spacious, with a giant extra sofa bed, and most importantly, everything is spotless. I stayed with my young adult kids and they enjoyed every aspect of the hotel. The customer service is top-notch — the team is incredibly professional yet genuinely friendly. They make sure you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and easy: beach chairs, towels, beach games, soccer balls, and refillable water bottles — all complimentary! The location is perfect too — just one minute from the famous Santa Monica shopping promenade and the pier, and close to all the best oceanfront restaurants. Perfect in every way!

Stayed for one night in late June to have some time by the beach before heading to downtown LA. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location can't be beat! Perfect for exploring Santa Monica, literally next to the pier entrance and easy beach access. My only (minor) gripe was with the clientele, which was a bit more of a party scene than I would prefer, but friendly nonetheless.

It was almost an all in one resort. Could easily get vehicle in and parking attendants make it easy. The guests get well greeted by professionals the entire stay. The staff sent a birthday basket for our birthday celebration. The Hotel restaurant food and drinks were delicious. Not saying this just because alcohol makes people drunk. That’s not the case at their bar. George truly mixes a wonderful selection of drinks that taste delicious not tasting an ounce of alcohol from start to finish.

Although they claim to be "pet-friendly," it's clear that pets are barely tolerated. When we dined at the hotel restaurant, two staff members were incredibly rude just because our small 10-pound dog was sitting on our lap and next to us. They insisted in a terrible tone that dogs must stay under the table and even said we shouldn't have been served at all. Interestingly, the hotel claims to have a dog menu, but it was never mentioned to us. So we chose to eat in other restaurants that were welcoming, and you feel respected as a guest. There's also no proper place for pets to relieve themselves. We had to walk to a nearby park late at night, which felt unsafe because of the homeless hanging around and relieving themselves openly. It made the whole situation stressful. The parking situation wasn't any better. The staff rudely pressured us to use their overpriced $69-per-night valet service. When we chose a cheaper option nearby for $25, they threatened to move our car if we stayed parked for more than 15 minutes during check-in, even though the lot was almost empty. But again, the rude tone is just part of their customer service (front desk was ok and housekeeping ladies were nice and hardworking). The pool area was disappointing, too. Dirty dishes were left around for hours, and it was noisy because it's right next to the freeway. It didn't feel relaxing at all, so we only went once. We've stayed at many truly pet-friendly places, and this was easily the worst. If you care about friendly service or are traveling with a pet, it's best to look elsewhere.
