I’ve stayed at the Langham 6 times now for work and it’s the only hotel I’ll stay at in Pasadena. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. It never seems over crowded. And the service is top notch. Love to stay here!

This is a beautiful resort hotel located in a residential part of Pasedena. Beautiful artwork and well maintained grounds throughout. I particularly enjoyed the Japanese garden. My room was simply decorated but very comfortable. There is a lot of space within the hotel and grounds to spread out and relax. Excellent bar and dining options on-site. I appreciated the free bottled water in the room. All-in-all a beautiful hotel that I would be happy to return to.

We spent several hundreds of dollars to stay at the Langham, but the quality of the room was sub-par and our only "view" was of the parking lot. The front desk staff was not very welcoming or friendly.

We booked afternoon tea for 11am but when we got there five minutes past, the place looked dark and like they weren't ready to open yet. Nobody was at the front to seat us. (This was the same fate of some later customers, who were left standing at the entrance for quite a while, waiting with no acknowledgment.) The scones were pretty good, but the sandwiches were forgettable. But here's the shocking part - they use TEA BAGS for their tea! I opened one of the teapots and could see a tea bag floating in there. This explains why the teas we tried tasted boring. This was not one would expect when paying over $100 for afternoon tea. I have tastier tea at home. Would I return? Unfortunately, no.
