Located in Hertfordshire, just a 30-minute drive out of London, The Grove sits in a vast 300-acre estate home to woodland trails, a formal garden and walled garden with three pools. The hotel offers a myriad of activities to enjoy its grounds, from an escape room to archery, rugby and outdoor chess. Further afar, guests can tour Warner Bros. Studios and visit the nearby football club or snow centre. The hotel is located aproximately a 30-minute drive from London Luton Airport (LTN). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

We are in the middle of our 3rd stay here this year and it has been phenomenal. Our kids love it here! On this occasion, Marta at the glasshouse was just an absolutely wonderful angel! Her customer service was second to none. Also, we sent out laundry and I was so impressed with how quickly it was returned. It couldn’t have taken more than 90 min! We will definitely keep coming back again and again.

We stayed at the Grove with our 3 month old baby back in June. From check in the experience was fantastic. We were gifted a cute little donkey teddy for our baby which to this day he loves. We were upgraded also which was a nice touch. We dined at the glasshouse for breakfast which was full of tasty options and Skewd for dinner. We were not blown away by our dinner, it was over priced for the quality of food but this is not reflective of the other restaurants which we have previously dined at so would not reflect this in our rating. The only negative comment I have is on the lighting and heating/cooling in the room. The system they have utilises capacitive touch which I dislike because when you press a “button” you get no feedback like you do with a button and wasn’t totally intuitive and the lighting itself I just found underwhelming for such a fantastic hotel. So much to do and beautiful grounds so perfect for a family break.

My stay at The Grove Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The rooms were immaculately presented, the location is ideal, and the overall atmosphere exudes both comfort and sophistication. However, what truly elevated my experience was the outstanding service provided by Carlos at the concierge desk. From the very first interaction, Carlos displayed the utmost professionalism, courtesy, and genuine warmth. His attentiveness and willingness to assist with every detail made me feel truly valued as a guest. Carlos is a true credit to the hotel, embodying the highest standards of hospitality. It is rare to encounter such dedication and sincerity in service, and I would not hesitate to return, largely due to the remarkable impression he left. Highly recommended.

We stayed for one night for mine and my husbands birthday treats with our 2 year old and our 2 week old newborn, the rooms are stunning although a bath tap did come off in my hand and we had to manually fix it as I was so excited for a nice bath having not long given birth, the lifts are very dated and dusty which is surprising for such a beautiful hotel, the bedrooms though were very nice.. however the reason for my 3 stars is because I went to the cash point the day before we checked in and I knew how much I had in my purse which I intended to use for a treatment, I stupidly left my bag in the middle of the room because I didn’t think we would have a room cleaning.. we went for a walk and when I came back I decided to check my bag and noticed £20 was missing…then we realised housekeeping had come to our room, I am 100% sure because like I said I went to the cash point and counted it a few times before we arrived .. I would never lie about £20, I’m sure nobody would … the reception were of course apologetic but didn’t offer to rectify the situation they just did their protocol of checking the staff member who was in our room, it really wasn’t the £20 that even bothered me it was the violation and then the hotel not really caring and just saying they’ve done their bit by checking the staff member ect … it really did ruin my evening I was so annoyed all night and the next day and we spent £550 on one nights stay so it put me off spending any more money so I didn’t have a treatment in the end which I was desperate for after giving birth 2 weeks prior! It’s just such a shame that it dampened our one night away that we saved for … The breakfast buffet was amazing though and the grounds are truly beautiful! Also the staff were really polite and friendly and sweet!
