Hospitality and service; what you'd expect with a revered hotel. We often stay at boutique hotels and this one was a delight and great value. Located in the hear of Back Bay neighborhood within easy walking distance to restaurants, entertainment and shopping. The staff are a class-act and rooms, while located in an older historic center are very comfortable, updated, clean and really felt like a home away from home.

From the moment I arrived at The Eliot Hotel, I was impressed by the exceptional customer service and the charming atmosphere that set it apart from other upscale hotels. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect—from a seamless check-in to thoughtful touches throughout my visit. The property itself exudes elegance and character, blending modern luxury with timeless charm. My room was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every amenity was thoughtfully chosen to enhance the guest experience. What truly stood out, however, was the personalized attention from the staff. Whether it was concierge recommendations, prompt room service, or the warm greetings at every turn, the hospitality was consistently top-notch. If you're looking for a refined, memorable stay with genuine warmth and sophistication, I highly recommend The Eliot Hotel. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Booked 2 rooms for a Boston stay. Loved having a separate sitting room. Bathrooms are very small with very narrow showers and very little space for your amenities. Bar areas would be better served to have space for our own items in fridge as well as being able to grab our own ice for the ice buckets provided. The beds are so short that your feet hang over the edge. This was crazy. Several of the lights in my room did not work. There were stains on the sheer curtains (almost like burns) and the carpet was stained with spots in so many areas. When I checked in, the safe in my room was broken so maintenance came to fix and ultimately couldn't so they had a new safe brought in. Waiting on this made us late to our tour that we had booked. That was a bit frustrating. The walls are paper thin to where you can hear every conversation that is going on next door. The Bellmen/doormen were the highlight of the hotel as they were always so nice and helpful. The rooms could be excellent if they were more clean, maintenance checked between visits (lights, safes, etc.) and the beds long enough for a person....even my friend that's short and had her own room, said that her feet hung over the bed. The location was excellent and easy to get to from anywhere.

Overall, I had a lovely time staying at the Eliot Hotel. It was great for my work trip in terms of the location, and my experience at the connected restaurant (Uni) was wonderful. I was surprised at how the room’s door and walls lacked resistance to sound. Whenever the door to the neighboring room was opened or closed, it was incredibly loud. At first, this was just a little annoying when my neighbors were entering and leaving, but it became very disruptive when I was taking calls in the late morning. That adjacent door kept slamming when housekeeping was in the area. I popped out of my room and mentioned this to housekeeping, but nothing changed after that. The loud door sounds continued periodically for an hour or so. That said, thank you regardless to the staff for their hospitality. I would still like to be back again if possible. Hopefully the next visit will be less noisy!
