This is our go to favorite home away from home in Boston. Welcoming, friendly and hospitable at all levels. It feels like family with old world graciousness and hospitality. The suites are spacious, comfortable and well appointed… like a home should be. Also, even when the hotel is maximum occupied I have never had sound issues. Solidly constructed.

The Eliot is a charming hotel in a great location. The service was top-notch. I would highly recommend this hotel when you come to Boston. The location is close to shopping, restaurants and many historical attractions. You can even walk to Fenway Park! We will definitely come back again!

The Eliot's reputation as a first rate (boutique) hotel is richly deserved. The service is impeccable; the rooms are beautifully appointed and maintained; and the entire operation sparkles with class and grace. Uni restaurant, which is in the hotel, is one of the best in the city; and if you want a big breakfast, you can dine in the Harvard Club with is next door and has an arrangement with the Eliot. We had a wonderful stay at the Eliot.

Booked 2 rooms for a Boston stay. Loved having a separate sitting room. Bathrooms are very small with very narrow showers and very little space for your amenities. Bar areas would be better served to have space for our own items in fridge as well as being able to grab our own ice for the ice buckets provided. The beds are so short that your feet hang over the edge. This was crazy. Several of the lights in my room did not work. There were stains on the sheer curtains (almost like burns) and the carpet was stained with spots in so many areas. When I checked in, the safe in my room was broken so maintenance came to fix and ultimately couldn't so they had a new safe brought in. Waiting on this made us late to our tour that we had booked. That was a bit frustrating. The walls are paper thin to where you can hear every conversation that is going on next door. The Bellmen/doormen were the highlight of the hotel as they were always so nice and helpful. The rooms could be excellent if they were more clean, maintenance checked between visits (lights, safes, etc.) and the beds long enough for a person....even my friend that's short and had her own room, said that her feet hung over the bed. The location was excellent and easy to get to from anywhere.
