I have stayed at many hotels and resorts in my time and Sun Gardens is by far the best. Not only are the views spectacular and the food phenomenal, the staff make you feel as though you are the only person they have to look after and always with a smile and a cracking sense of humour. You can see how proud they are to work there and this comes across with everything they do. Can’t wait to go back and meet Enisa and her team. Thank you so much guys and if I could give 6 stars I would.

Really spacious rooms (we had a 2 bedroom residence with sea view), well appointed (kitchenette, dishwasher, dishwasher tabs, etc) and nice resort with great facilities and decent service. The resort is about a half hour drive from the old town, costing about EUR40 with uber. Our main complaint would be people reserving sun loungers by the pool and not being there all day, making it hard for others to find a bed. This could be better managed by hotel staff as we have seen at other resorts.

We had the most amazing stay at this fantastic place! While we spent a lot of time exploring Dubrovnik, you could easily spend a whole week just enjoying the resort. It’s packed with activities and things to do. The beach is beautiful, extremely clean, and has great bar facilities. We dined at La Pasta and Cilantro (we loved Cilantro so much we went three times!)—both offered great, high-quality food. We did have a minor issue with ants in our apartment, which is to be expected in a hot country and natural surroundings. We reported it to reception, and a friendly lady from the facilities team arrived within 10 minutes to sort it out—great service! The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed. It was very spacious, had a fantastic sea view, and the housekeeping team was amazing. There’s a convenient on-site shop, though it is quite expensive. Overall, the resort was spotless, and we can’t wait to come back!

The resort is amazing, beautiful beach and pools. Excellent staff. We had a couple of small issues which were resolved right away but the management added free breakfast buffet for us . That was very nice of them. When we checked in , there was complimentary wine, water and chocolate for us . The next day coconut macaroons were sent by management. Positives: excellent Facility, a lot of activities to do, many restaurants on site, staff is very nice . La pasta is a good spot to eat at resort if you don’t want to spend $80 per person. The beach is just beautiful!!! Negatives: too far from the old town . Nothing is close by but that is something we know when we book the place. And it is a 5 star resort so keep in mind everything is expensive. Again, that is something one should know when booking the hotel. Breakfast buffet can improve. There are a lot to of things but quality can be better . I guess it is due to such a huge number of guests there. There were about 1000 guests staying at that time. To summarize, if u want to know spend more time in old town then don’t stay here. But if u want to relax and chill, this is perfect. We stayed 3 nights at a resort in old town and then stayed here to relax.
