Sugar Beach Mauritius

Sugar Beach is an outstanding hotel that never disappoints. Each time my family and I have stayed there, our experience has been consistently excellent. The staff are always warm and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained and modern. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and stylishly designed. Its location is unbeatable, right on the beach, where the water is crystal clear and great for swimming. In addition to the sea, there’s a large main pool as well as a quieter pool with a more relaxed atmosphere. Dining at Sugar Beach is another highlight. The buffet offers a wide variety of delicious, high-quality dishes. I especially recommend trying the Japanese restaurant, The Buddha Bar, which I consider one of the best in Mauritius, as well as the excellent Italian restaurant. Both offer stunning views of the beach, making every meal memorable. For those who enjoy sports and wellness, the hotel has fantastic facilities. There are several tennis courts, a paddle court with lessons available, and a spa for relaxation. Overall, Sugar Beach is the perfect mix of comfort, leisure, and outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Mauritius.

Our experience at Sugar Beach Hotel was overall amazing. The Staff Team are welcoming and keen to remedy any issues you may encounter during your stay. Special thanks to Mr. Stephan, Elizabeth and Krishnee and all other Staff who helped us to pay particular attention to us to ensure our stay went well. Welcoming and incredible stay - Stayed 12th July to 21st July. Firstly, my apologies for the late note for sending review. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team at Sugar Beach for their exceptional hospitality and for ensuring our stay was memorable – especially the surprise cake for my mum’s big birthday milestone. From the moment we arrived at the hotel the warm welcome we received with the smiles makes us forget our tiredness from our journey. Prior to our arrival at the hotel, we had informed both the Agent and the hotel about my mum’s mobility issues and made specific requests for assistance. I was amazed that they remembered everything we asked for and fully accommodated my mum’s needs including organising a chair in the shower. They even gave us a ground floor beachfront room near all the amenities, which I genuinely appreciate. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed for seniors. Our attendant Sharmila was always cheerful and promptly helped with all our requests. I would like to extend my gratitude to Supervisor Diana and Tanvish for thoughtfully arranging the decorations for my mother's birthday. The elephant décor was especially charming and greatly appreciated. The hotel grounds are carefully levelled, providing easy accessibility for guests with mobility challenges. The resort is meticulously kept, a testament to the dedication of the staff who strive to ensure every guest enjoys their stay. The resort staff maintain not only the property but also keep the beach clean, clearing seaweed each morning so guests can enjoy their walks. To the Le Patio dining team, thank you for your outstanding hospitality. As vegetarians, we appreciated both the menu options and your extra efforts to accommodate us. Special thanks to Chef Somrah for greeting us warmly despite his busy schedule. Chef Vamraj made excellent curries and was ready to prepare anything we wanted—thank you for making us feel at home. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Santoo, Bruno, Sadan, Hurvind, Vimala, Nisha, and all the staff at Le Patio for their consistently helpful and welcoming attitude. Their readiness to help with a smile was truly commendable. Thank you to Janvi for amazing Aqua aerobics, Farzi and his team at the pool. Thank you to Vimisha for organising our spa treatments, which me and mum thoroughly enjoyed and found relaxing. Mrs. Anuradha, the Service Excellence Executive at Sugar Beach, consistently showed exceptional professionalism throughout our stay. Her warm and welcoming approach ensured that we always felt comfortable and valued as guests. She took the initiative to coordinate all arrangements on our behalf with great attention to detail. Ms. Cindy Borli, Thank you very much for providing us with room 510, which is ideally located on the beachfront and near all the amenities, such as restaurants. This convenient arrangement was especially helpful for my mother. We extend our sincere appreciation to every team for their dedicated efforts in ensuring guests enjoyed a memorable and exceptional holiday experience.
