Sugar Beach Mauritius

My family and I have just completed a two-week stay at the Sugar Beach Hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Mauritius; it really is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are kept clean, the mini bar is stocked daily, and all areas, from the gardens to the restaurants, are well maintained. A few days into my stay, I was approached by the nicest person I've ever met who works in a hotel, and her name is Anuradha (Executive Assistant). She asked us how our stay was going, and apart from some minor issues, which we explained, Anuradha took it all in her stride and acted so professionally. She then went above and beyond from that point. We explained we chose Mauritius and the Sugar Beach to celebrate my 50th and my sister-in-law's 40th, and Anuradha organised some amazing surprises for us both; I really can't thank her enough, she really is a credit to this hotel. I would also like to mention how good Bruno & Kris were at looking after us at the Maré Maré beach restaurant on the two visits we had during our stay. And a huge thank-you to Rishi and all the staff in the Buddha Bar; the food and service was amazing. The time I spent around the adult pool and the beach area adjacent to it, I was looked after and served by the very hard-working beach bar waiter Andre; this guy really works flat out all day and earns every bit of his pay, but never did I see him without a smile on his face. And last but not least, my room maid Sweety, and she really was so sweet; thank you for keeping our room smelling so clean and feeling tidy every day. And finally, I would like to thank all the staff members not mentioned for working so hard to try to make the experience as enjoyable as possible.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My Daughter and I recently spent 7 nights at Sugar Beach, and it was truly an unforgettable stay. From the moment I contacted Krishnee before our arrival, I knew we were in great hands. We were celebrating both mine and my daughter’s birthdays, and Krishnee went above and beyond to make it incredibly special. Before we even arrived, she helped organise trips and experiences for us, and during our stay she continued to ensure everything ran smoothly. On arrival, we were delighted to find that our room had been upgraded, and shortly after check-in, a bottle of prosecco and a large fruit platter were delivered to our room — such a lovely welcome touch! On my birthday, we returned to find a bottle of wine and a delicious cake waiting for us, and that evening we enjoyed a wonderful birthday meal that Krishnee had arranged. She was always available throughout our stay, ready to help with any questions or requests. Thanks to Krishnee and the entire team at Sugar Beach, our stay was filled with thoughtful touches and memorable moments. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect way to celebrate our birthdays — we can’t wait to return! 💛

We’ve had such a brilliant time here! From the moment we arrived, everyone’s been so lovely and welcoming. The beach staff, especially Fazele, have been incredible – always checking in and bringing us drinks with a smile. The bar staff especially Shaboosh and Hants are brilliant. honestly can’t do enough for you, they’re all so friendly and hardworking. The food has been absolutely delicious every day, and our room has been spotless thanks to Sweety from housekeeping – she’s done an amazing job and always so cheerful when we see her. The beach itself is stunning, one of the nicest we’ve been to – perfect for relaxing with a cocktail in hand. We also had a lovely time at the spa, and I had a fab pedicure from Ashee, who was really friendly and made the experience extra special. Honestly, everything’s been spot on. Couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. Big thank you to everyone at Sugar Beach – you’ve made our stay unforgettable! 🌴☀️🍹

We spent our honeymoon here at the beautiful Sugar Beach Motel. We were warmly welcomed with a complimentary drink and shown to our room. Our first night was wonderful, with a sparkling wine reception arranged for us. We felt very comfortable here — everyone treated us with great kindness and care, and every wish was fulfilled. We would especially like to highlight that all the staff members at Sugar Beach Motel are exceptionally friendly and courteous. Our special thanks go to Christine, the restaurant manager, for her outstanding hospitality. We also enjoyed some memorable evenings at the Maré Maré Restaurant as well as at the Buddha Bar. The musical evenings at sunset were always the highlight of our day. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone, and we will definitely return — hopefully for a special wedding anniversary.
