I had a wonderful holiday for the 4th time in Mauritius and for the 3rd time at Sugar Beach, definitely because of the staff: roommate Natacha, luggage handler Vijay, pool man Shorab, during dinner, breakfast Kadir, Santoo, Scyam, Natascha and Somrah. Overall, Anuradha asked every morning how we were doing and what we planned to do, and she also gave us tips. She tries to make everything very pleasant for us. She surprised us on my birthday, which was very thoughtful. It is a warm and welcoming environment you arrive in. Everyone has their heart in the right place; they enjoy their work.

We are very pleased with the whole experience at Sugar Bay Mauritius! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well-organized. Location & Atmosphere: Absolutely stunning setting by the ocean – calm, relaxing, and perfect for a Mauritian escape. The beach is just stunning 😍 Service: Warm, friendly, and attentive staff who made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. Food & Drinks: Excellent selection, fresh and tasty meals with something for everyone. Comfort: Rooms and facilities were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the trip. It was a memorable experience, and we left with wonderful impressions. Definitely a place we would love to return to and recommend to others!

We were really touched by the warm welcome of Mrs Anuradha. Yesterday was indeed an amazing day. My family and i have really spent a nice and memorable moment at the resort. Thank you for organizing the yummy birthday cake.Thavanesh was so happy. First of all, I would like to thank Mrs Jennifer for allowing us a day use although the high occupancy. A special thanks to Mrs Jioty, Mrs Rosa from the kids club, Melissa from the restaurant who has looked after us very well. We were amazed by the service she has provided to us. The food prepared by Chef Mohamed was so delicious. Thank you everyone who has made our day. Looking forward to spend our next holiday at Sugar Beach.

The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern, and the beach is absolutely amazing – one of the best we’ve seen. However, the service from the staff was disappointing. Drinks always took a very long time to arrive, even though there were plenty of waiters around, most of them very young and seemingly uninterested in their job. The food could have been more diverse as well. At Mare Mare restaurant, we were even forgotten once after ordering, while guests who arrived later were served before us – only after reminding them did we finally get our food. For a 5-star hotel, the service really needs improvement.
