From the moment we arrived at Pineapple Hotel in San Francisco, we knew we were in for something special – but what we didn’t expect was just how at home we’d feel, all thanks to the incredible hospitality of Yesha, Joe, and Brian. Yesha was an absolute standout. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care turned our trip into something far beyond a typical hotel stay. She made us feel like we were visiting a friend rather than checking into a hotel. Whether it was remembering our names, offering thoughtful local tips, or just greeting us with the kind of smile that lifts your whole day – Yesha went above and beyond every single time. Her presence truly made a difference. Joe and Brian were also exceptional – professional yet personable, always ready to help with a kind word or a quick solution. It’s rare to come across staff who are this committed to making guests feel valued and welcomed, but at StayPineapple Hotel, it seems to be the standard. The hotel itself is charming, stylish, and perfectly located, but it’s the people who make it shine. If you're looking for a place where you’re not just a guest, but genuinely cared for – this is it. Thank you Yesha, Joe, and Brian – you made our stay absolutely unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

We’ve stayed with Staypineapple in San Diego and now San Francisco, and it’s lovely every time. We always have a pleasant experience with the concierge staff too, and they make the process for checking in (and out) very seamless and kind of fun. The room service was great as well. They remade the room back to exactly how it was when we arrived, immaculate, fresh and tidy. Lastly, when staying at this location, Nixxy, one of the concierge staff members, was at the front desk more often than not when we would be coming back in from a long day and they were always very hospitable. They’d greet us every time, and most importantly, were quick to open up the front door (it’s locked after 7 pm) so we could get to our room as soon as possible and relax. Nixxy was first rate - thank you for making our stay feel so friendly and easy! We’ll definitely remember this location when coming back on business again!

I loved my stay! The hotel is super cute, comfortable, and cozy. The staff was friendly, helpful, and polite. The complimentary snacks, coffee and tea pods, and bottled water were definitely a nice touch. There was an issue with the elevator, but the hotel refunded me for the inconvenience, which I really appreciated. I would definitely stay here again. The area around the hotel is good too. There were a few homeless people around, especially at night or early in the morning, but that’s pretty common across the city, so I thought it was okay. I was traveling solo and felt very safe overall.

I truly don’t understand how this hotel managed to get any high reviews. Our stay was honestly such a disappointment. The staff didn’t seem to care about helping at all when we had some issues with our room. The location isn’t great, and it didn’t feel very safe walking around, a lot of homeless and druggies. Apparently this neighbourhood is the worst in SF. Plus, it’s super noisy at night, between the traffic and people listening to the music really loud outside, there was no chance of getting a good night’s sleep. Overall, we really regret booking this place. We expected way better for the price and the reviews. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again. #Don’tstaypineaplle
