The hotel is located approximately a 20-minute from Schiphol Airport (AMS). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Loved staying at this hotel. It was in a great location, just far enough from the crowds but super close to city centre with the metro down the block available. The bed and pillows super comfy. My room was small but it was perfect for 1 person. I would stay again! The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful!

A Truly Luxurious Experience Just Outside the Heart of the City. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the sheer luxury of this hotel. The interiors are beautifully designed, creating an atmosphere of elegance and comfort. The location is perfect—just outside the bustling city center, offering easy access to everything while providing a peaceful retreat from the crowds. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. Every team member I encountered was genuinely friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and cared for. Their professionalism and warmth made all the difference. Despite being so well-connected, the hotel was incredibly quiet and serene. I enjoyed restful nights and relaxing mornings, which made my trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious, convenient, and tranquil place to stay, with outstanding service from start to finish.

Hope my message not being misleading, my point of view is based on my Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador status, as what we have experienced with most of Marriott hotels are they will hospitalize room upgrade and breakfast, or some will offer breakfast due to lack of lounge, the room upgrade is really based on availability but once unable to upgrade the room they often provide some vouchers like free breakfast...anyway, to be Bonvoy Ambassador if really making you feel privilege at your side, until you check in this Sir Albert Hotel. My advice for you is, if your are at a high Bonvoy level, to forget about the Marriott loyalty benefits totally, as your are going to check in like any random guest, room is going to exactly the same type when you pressed booking and the breakfast is going to be 28 Euro if you didn't reserve a seat with the reception one day in advance. Just a lesson for me, if you are in a similar situation then hope you have learnt from my experience. Apart from these, this hotel is at a great location, especially for those museum lovers, 10 minutes walking distance to the Van Gogh Museum. But if you are party and night lives seekers, there are better choices. The reception staff is super nice and talkative, never getting tired of your questions. In general, to chose or not to chose, it depends.

The Sir Albert opened in 2013 and is showing that it's in need of a refreshing. The rooms are a little worn; especially the cowhide chair, shower drain, and the brown bed covering. The staff is friendly and helpful. When we checked-in, we informed the front desk that the toilet wasn't clean, and they responded quickly. They offered another room, but it was in the same condition as the room we had. Additionally, the rooms have no USB ports, so if you're an international traveler, you'll either need to bring an adapter or purchase one from the hotel. If I were to stay here again, it would be because of the great location and excellent staff; it wouldn't be for the hotel itself.
