Amazing staff and very comfortable bed - key feedback would be the late housekeeping - they always came between 4-5:30 when we’d finished at the beach and were trying to have a nap before sunset dinner. Recommend getting a car to get around, there is plenty of free parking across the road. Adults only was amazing, so relaxing!

What more can I say but WoW what a total package. The room the food the staff and of cause the location. We as a family of the 6 of us had 3 rooms beachfront and it was spectacular to wake up to looking out at the magnificent crystal clear water. I want to thank the staff who looked after us and the cleaners that cleaned all the rooms everyday. The service was great. Would definitely recommend and will be back. This isn't goodbye it's we will see you soon.

Sanctuary Rarotonga on the beach Adults only resort is just that. No sneaking the grand kids in etc We enjoyed our stay. The staff are lovely and we had no issues. Check out was a smooth process. The resort is a bit dated and although not the worst bed I've ever had the mattress seemed a bit old. (I didn't dare look) We used My Holiday as we'd not been before. I was not bitten by mosquitoes or anything which is a relief. I used a good repellent in the evening sometimes if I spotted any. There is mosquitoe borne disease so it's worth being aware. Unfortunately the weather was not very tropical and we had a lot of windy days. Tips to consider: Take a flight to New Zealand first, stay a night then continue on to Cook Islands from Auckland. We took an overnight flight from Sydney thinking we would sleep. We couldn't sleep and I noticed many many others young and old didn't sleep. We were so exhausted and our room wasn't ready for hours. Not the resorts fault tho. It took us two days to recover and feel normal. If you feel like a treat the Antipodes restaurant is a bit expensive but very nice.
