My husband took me to New Orleans for my very first experience for my 45 birthday... we traveled with his male cousin and fiance... i so enjoyed myself from the moment we arrived, The valet, to a escort to our rooms with our luggage. The politeness from everyone that was staff, I have never felt so special. We were on Bourbon street walk out our hotel and behold all the fun eatery places, and music stores, clothing and lounges as well as clubs... it was a different world once you step out of The Royal Sonesta onto the street. With all the hustle and bustle from 3pm to midnight. When you're an full grown mature adult... it's best to go back to your hotel by 9:30-10pm because then Bourbon street is flooded with younger folks and it becomes not so friendly... but the next morning you walk outside and it's like magic 🎩 ✨️ like Nothing ever happened, the streets are cleaned and brand new waiting for the next great day of experience needed to be had....this Beautiful Hotel was perfect 👌

The hotel was good overall. Everyone was polite. The only caveats is you can't cast anything on their TV even if it have a Chromecast making the TV not as useful since you have to pay $20+/content, the only free thing is mostly local channels. When booking our room, the Executive Level, Breakfast for 2 was supposed to be included, which is why we booked it in the first place, but when we tried to use that amenity, we were told it wasnt. We also had a connecting door to an adjacent room which gave us less privacy than usual since we could hear everything from the next room.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Strengths: - probably the best location of any hotel in the French Quarter, as it is within walking distance of so many NOLA highlights and is right on Bourbon St - very kind staff, especially Caleb (doorman) who greeted us so kindly every morning he was working and went above and beyond - pool with poolside bar, courtyard, plenty of places to lounge - 2 restaurants and a coffee shop in-house - housekeeping did a FANTASTIC job at keeping our room clean daily, it was much appreciated coming back to a clean room after long days of exploring Growth: - although pool was great, there is a DJ on Sundays who BLASTED music (would be good at a rave, but Sunday 2pm at pool, no). It was unbearable and the other guests at the pool were not pleased as well. The pool is meant to be a nice respite from the liveliness of Bourbon St, it was easily twice as loud - paid for a deluxe suite Queen, think I would’ve foregone the extra cost and just gone with a regular room - our room had no view (view of a wall), there were stains on the floor, TV didn’t work The hotel has done everything they can to mitigate this but be aware that rooms on the Bourbon St side are quite noisy at all hours of the night as there are several bars both in and adjacent to the hotel.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The Pool area is the best part. I only gave it 3 stars because the customer service isn’t good. From my experience I’ve tried to reach the hotel numerous times in regards to my $300 deposit. It’s going on 2 weeks and every time I call they send me to voicemail. I really feel like I’m being scammed out of my deposit. Nobody is communicating to me about it. I don’t know what else to do other than contact corporate offices. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK!
