Take the 30-minute drive to the spa town of Palm Cove or drive one hour to Port Douglas. Chase The Waterfall Circuit during wet season, a 100km drive from Cairns to the Atherton Tablelands, ticking off Millaa Millaa, Zillie and Ellinja Falls with plenty of foodie pitstops along the way.

The hotel is located approximately a 10-minute drive from Cairns Airport (CNS). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Our check-in was done quickly and Jenny is a beautiful person with a big smile. Our room we chose to upgrade and so pleased we did, it was absolutely beautiful with a balcony to look at the water. The foyer is absolutely stunning, didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Once again a special mention to Jenny for being so polite and funny. We felt very well looked after!

What a wonderful experience. All staff were friendly, engaging and so helpful! The food was devine and they catered for all dietary requirements just as part of the service. A slight issue with a shower was dealt with as soon as we mentioned it and by the time we got back to the hotel it had been sorted. Fantastic. Shout out to Georgia who went above and beyond at the reception desk for us as first timers.

We loved our stay at the Pullman. My family have stayed here several times over the years and we’ve always been well looked after. The staff are inviting and friendly, always making us feel welcomed. The location is perfect for us as our kids are still young enough to appreciate the huge playground at the Wharf park across the road. Would highly recommend to any families travelling to stay here. Breakfast was delicious and I also treated myself to the Vie spa - couldn’t fault the place! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My partner and l like to mix up our accommodation, sometimes five star, sometimes boutique. We were staying in a boutique hotel this stay but thought we would check out the Pullman in Cairns over a mid morning coffee and cake. The coffee area in the lobby was quiet. We took a seat but the staff member didn’t acknowledge us though she knew we had taken a seat. We approached her and without a greeting or smile we were asked if we wanted the lunch menu. We said no but she left a menu with us anyway. I then went back to the till where the lady was balancing receipts. I asked about cake and was told none were available ( is this five star ) only cookies. I ordered coffee and was handed the eftpos machine. I paid. No smile. The younger lady who made the coffee and served us was professional and delightful. I couldn’t help but notice the transformation of the older lady when a member of management sat down for coffee. She couldn’t be more attentive or charming to management and guest, and he paid after being served. Shame she didn’t see customers in the same light.
