We had such a lovely time at this hotel. It’s bang in front of the beautiful canals of Amsterdam and on the same street as Anne frank house. It’s super centrally located. But the real fun is when you get on the inside. The room was so lovely and took you back to old time Amsterdam architecture. The gym was very well stalked and I particularly had a good workout. The breakfast was special and really tasty and fulfilling. The staff was super helpful and friendly too.

We stayed at Pulitzer for 4 nights in a two twin-bed room. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean and nicely decorated. We didn’t use the restaurant. The bar was set up to look like a study, which was a cool idea, but drinks were a bit expensive. It’s conveniently located on a major canal near a major road through the city, as well as the Anne Frank House. There are many restaurants, bars, stores and other sites within walking distance. The staff were very helpful. I left my wallet in the room safe when we checked out, and a security officer called me to let me know they found it, and they kept it in the security office until I was able to retrieve it a few days later. A receptionist and concierge offered us bottles of water when we stopped in to pick up my wallet even though we weren’t currently guests there. It’s a bit expensive to stay at Pulitzer, but it’s definitely worth it.

Very nice location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. However, I wouldn’t classify this as a 5-star hotel. The rooms are quite small and not luxurious by any means and the service overall can be improved (e.g., nobody offered to get me a car to the airport nor help with putting the suitcase in the Uber, they messed up my bill and were about to double charge me for the stay). I would only come back if I found it available for 300 euros or less.

I stayed at the Pulitzer for 4 nights. Overall, it was a great experience; the staff were friendly, rooms were comfortable, and the location was fantastic. I had several meals at the different restaurants and enjoyed all of them. I also used the fitness center every day which was a perfect set up. The only thing to be cognizant of, is if you're on a lower floor above one of the restaurants or Bar Pulitzer. The music had a loud beat that was going all night. The staff was able to find me a different room on a higher floor that was much quieter, but just something to consider if you're sensitive to noise. It was also during the weekend, which I know can be a bit loud. Special thanks to Kayla at front reception for helping me. The canal boat tour was incredible through the hotel and definitely something to book. The boat was absolutely beautiful, and was the chicest I saw the entire weekend! I will definitely stay here again.
