Plantation Island Resort

Nestled on the 553-acre island of Malolo Lailai, a 50-minute ferry ride from Port Denarau, Plantation Island Resort is surrounded by 23 acres of tropical gardens, coconut palms and white sandy beaches that front a beautiful sheltered lagoon. Airport transfers to Port Denarau Marina are not included in your package, please plan accordingly. Ferry transfers are included in select packages – as the ferry offers a limited number of services daily, please plan accordingly.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 45 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 45 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges

Please Note:

• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Dining Credit: The included food credit must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Dining credit will be deducted from the final bill, and is valid at Copra Restaurant, Brigham Bar, Ocean Pool Bar, Tavola Restaurant and Black Coral Restaurants only.
• The waterpark is not available for use during low tide. Please refer to timings daily throughout your stay.
• Children (under 2) must be accompanied at the Kids’s Club.
• Coconut Kids Club access is for children (4–12 years) and Lairo Club for teenagers (13–16 years).
• Complimentary resort activities include: kayaks, paddle boards, hobie cats, half basketball court, handball court, tennis court, table tennis, volleyball and inflatable waterparks alongside Fijian cooking lessons, coconut leaf basket weaving lessons and native medicine tours.
• Complimentary limited Wi-Fi is available at: Tavola Arrival Bure, Restaurant, Bar, Pool and Coco Lailai, Black Coral Bar and Restaurant (inside and outside), Copra Restaurant and Brigham Bar (bar area only), Coco Hut area (front) Boatshed building, minimart and activities area and the beachfront in between the boat shed and Copra Restaurant.
• Please note this is low-speed Wi-Fi which will allow you to check emails, social media, browse websites, download pictures and view low res videos. If you require higher-speed Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi in your room, this can be purchased through the Guest Wi-Fi system.
• Breakfast includes a buffet breakfast at Copra Restaurant from 7am to 10am.
• Children receive free meals from the kids’ menu when dining with parents who either receive breakfast in their package, or are paying for their own meal.
• Children (11 and under) ride the Malolo Cat ferry to Malolo Lailai Island for free, excluding ML10.30am departure from Denarau and ML12.15pm departure from Plantation Island Resort. From 1 December 2024, excluding the ML8.00am departure from Denarau and ML4.00pm departure from Plantation Island Resort.
• If ferry transfers are not booked at the time of purchased they can be added as a standalone experience post-purchase.

Ferry Transfers to Malolo Lailai Island Inclusions & Fine Print:

• Includes: Return ferry transfer from Port Denarau to Plantation Island Resort, valid for two adults (12+) and unlimited children.
• Malolo Cat boats depart Denarau Marina (Nadi) for Malolo Lailai Island four times daily from Port Denarau Marina.
• Guests are advised to arrange flights to arrive before the last boat at 5.30pm or organise a night in Nadi (at own cost).
• Ferry Departures. Until 30 November 2024: From Port Denarau: 7.30am, 10.30am, 2.00pm, 5.30pm. From Plantation Island Resort: 5.45am, 8.45am, 12.15pm, 3.45pm. From 1 December 2024: From Port Denarau: 8.00am, 2.00pm, 5.30pm. From Plantation Island Resort: 5.45am, 10.15am, 3.45pm. Transfer Duration: Approximately 50 minutes. The 7.30am (8.00am from 1 December 2024) departure operates only if minimum reservations are met. Otherwise, guests will be booked on the 10:30 am (2:00 pm from 1 December 2024) departure.
• Coach Transfers: Depart from Musket Cove’s Nadi Airport office and Fiji Gateway Hotel one hour before each Port Denarau boat departure.
• Return coach from Port Denarau leaves 20 minutes after boat arrival.
• Malolo Cat coach stops only at hotels with confirmed bookings. No refunds for missed pick-ups.
• Missed the bus? Contact Reservations for the next boat and bus pick-up or arrange your transport to Port Denarau Marina at your expense.
• Bring a copy of the itinerary or booking confirmation for each passenger.
• Full refund with one hour’s notice before departure. No refunds for cancellations within one hour, late arrivals or no-shows.
• Leeward Island Services is not responsible for missed flights due to late arrivals. They reserve the right to alter prices, apply surcharges, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport and vary services as needed. All transfers are subject to sea and weather conditions. Guests must cover additional accommodation costs if conditions prevent operation. Carry travel insurance is recommended. Rates may change due to governmental taxes or fees. No coach transfer from the Coral Coast currently.
• Baggage Policies: Maximum 25kg luggage and 5kg carry-on per adult. Excess baggage charge of FJ$2.00 per kg applies.
