It was extremely nice stay there. Room was cozy and clean, views are beautiful! We do a little for track and it was nice walk around the lodge, staff are very helpful , especially Georgia Sawatzky, she was professional and caring, which makes our stay experience even better. Food in the bistro are nice and staff there are also friendly. We definitely will come back for another visit.

A wonderful experience to cherish. Such an incredible location. The resort is perfect for this special experience and the resort has that air of class and level of sophistication that comes with such places. The spa cabin was excellent and tho gas fireplace added so much to the stay. However the resort could benefit from some upgrades and maintenance. The breakfast experience is exceptional and the coffee is among the best I have had. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Cradle Mountain lodge in a pencil pine room. We almost didn't book based on the negative reviews, but glad we did. The staff were great and helped with local walks and explained the process for the bus to Dove lake and the national park. The room was very good, well maintained, clean, peaceful and no tv, which was great to actually relax. Fully stocked mini bar and lovely gas fireplace. While the room didn't look newly renovated, it was very comfortable, modern and fits with the style of the whole complex. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant, with the 2 course set menu also including complementary bread, a side and petit fours. We didn't need desert. The wine list was superb and open fire going in both the restaurant and tavern next door. Breakfast was included which we didn't realise when booking which included a barista coffee, cooked options, pastries, fruit and cereal. Overall an excellent experience.

The entire experience was satisfactory, not what I thought nearly $500/night at a 4.5star hotel promised. The spa cabin was fine, everything worked/was clean but it was quite basic and dated. Staff were a mixed bag of helpful, lovely and disinterested. The Tavern was full of raucous kids, average but expensive food. The Highland restaurant was nice and the food was good, but a bottle of wine was 3x the bottle shop price meaning dinner for 2 with 1 bottle was $300+. Also please stop with all the emails, one receipt and confirmation will do. Emails to check-in, emails trying to up sell add ons, emails confirming dinner reservations after it was already booked, it feels a bit like a budget airline and does not replace service. A wonderful location, close to the Park and lovely walks from the lodge were the saving grace and the best reason to stay. We had a great time up at Cradle Mountain, I actually really enjoyed the experience. There was nothing wrong with the accommodation as such. But if you went there expecting a 4.5star hotel (as advertised and charged), you'll likely be disappointed. If you want a comfy stay in a nice family hotel in a magic part of the world, you'll be happy. But the cost does not reflect this.
