Lovely view of the Opera house with team dedicated to every need you might have. My wife is a Globalist with Hyatt and they surprised us with goods and amenities during our stay. We had some issue with the points but they managed to fix after a while. If you want to best view of Sydney look no further. This is the place

Perfect location. Amazing views. But the staff in the Living Room can be friendlier. Edited Note: I returned here again between meetings, and this time I experienced a very clear contrast in service. I was seated next to an Anglo couple, and the same waiter (of Asian background) was noticeably more attentive and polite with them, while being rather unfriendly, borderline rude, with me. The difference in treatment was hard to ignore. It was also the same waiter I encountered during my first visit.

I usually enjoy visiting Park Hyatt Sydney, but my experience on 18 August 2025 left me shocked, embarrassed, and very disappointed. After a nice evening at the bar, around 8:38pm there was no one in background I stepped out near the flower arrangement and glass doors to take a quick selfie — something I’ve done before with no problem. To my surprise, a staff member walked over with an impatient look and told me, “this hotel is private, do it quickly.” It felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. Later that night at around 8:41pm I stepped outside through the glass doors and tried to take another picture, not realising it couldn’t be opened from the outside. It was cold and raining. I was standing just a few metres away, clearly waving for help, but two staff members saw me and simply ignored me. I was left shivering outside until I had to call my friend in the bar to let me back in. What shocked me even more is that when I later tried to speak to them, but one of them moved away so quickly from me, and another one of those people said he didn't see me. I asked him to check the surveillance, and I wanted to lodge a complaint, then he said he was the General Manager here, he brushed me off with arrogance, however I insisted on stating the facts, then he gave me a reluctant and insincere apology, which was unbelievable coming from someone in that position. For a international hotel that calls itself five-star luxury, this kind of indifference and lack of basic courtesy — especially from the General Manager — is completely unacceptable. Rules are fine, however the regulations cannot be interpreted differently by each individual, and kindness, respect, and basic human decency should always come first. I hope senior management takes this seriously, because no guest was ever to be subjected to such insults and rough treatment.
