From the moment we arrived, Ohla Barcelona exceeded every expectation (yet again, as this was our second stay in 2 years). Traveling as a family with two young children, we weren’t sure how a chic boutique hotel would accommodate our needs — but Ohla managed to seamlessly blend luxury with warmth, making it the perfect home base for our Barcelona adventure. We truly felt at home and part of the family all over again, this time with our kids being part of the experience. The staff was beyond welcoming — attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind to our daughters. They remembered our names from our first adults-only visit, offered thoughtful touches daily, and made us feel like honored guests rather than just travelers passing through. Our rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with just the right mix of comfort and sophistication. We especially loved the rooftop terrace and pool — a serene escape with sweeping views of the city where our kids could unwind while we enjoyed a drink in the sun. The location? Unbeatable. Steps from El Born, the Gothic Quarter, and some of the best food and sights in the city. Everything was walkable, yet the hotel felt like a peaceful retreat from the energy of the streets. As seasoned travelers, we’ve stayed in hotels around the world (including several very high-end hotels in different countries), but Ohla Barcelona stands out as one of our absolute favorites. If you're traveling adults-only or with kids and want an elevated, memorable, and welcoming experience, this is the place. The staff makes this hotel a cool boutique hotel to a great hotel. Feels upscale, and the rooms are quite standard less the all glass shower in the center of the room. Bed is hard but ok. Roof top bar is cool. Should be 18 over after 6 pm but is not. Nice to get your drink on and party with the kids. Staff is a little stuffy at the roof top bar and your wait could be long unless ypu let them know you are a guest and you zoom right in! View is good, not great and seating is pretty limited. Cafe down stairs was great for breakfast (included in our room package) with fresh everything. Fruit, pastries, eggs were so good. Staff was again great. Had tapas for lunch and a little pricey for the quality but good air conditioning and a great staff makes it worth it. We will be back

My wife and I just spent a week staying at the Ohla Barcelona. The service is excellent. From the friendly and helpful front desk, restaurant, rooftop staff to those that looked after our room. We were greeted with champagne in our room on the first night, nightly chocolates on the pillows and a spotless room. The highest level of service. The hotel is in a great location, steps to amazing sights, restaurants, shopping and not far from the beach. We would definitely stay here again the next time we come to Barcelona. A big thank you to all of the staff that made our stay an absolute pleasure.

Our stay at Ohla Barcelona was nothing short of magical. My husband and I were traveling with our two young daughters, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. Their warmth, kindness, and attentiveness went above and beyond, we were truly cared for in every way. The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the rooftop views are breathtaking. One of the biggest surprises was the breakfast. I usually love trying local cafés, but I refused to leave because it was that good. Incredible food, fresh, elegant, and truly first-class. If you are traveling with children I recommend reserving the family suite which gave our kids their own space while still feeling safe. Ohla gave us more than just a place to stay, it gave us memories we’ll cherish. We can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommend.
