Oaks Cable Beach Resort is located in Broome, known as the gateway to Western Australia’s Kimberley region. The resort is a seven-minute drive from Cable Beach town, home to a supermarket and café, while the famous Cable Beach is just a 15-minute stroll away. The hotel is located approximately a 10-minute drive from Broome International Airport (BME). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Package Inclusions: Inclusions are correct at the time of purchase. Refer to your booking confirmation for details. Please note package inclusions for extra guests vary depending on the rate selected, please choose your package carefully.

Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.

Please Note: The following applies to select packages only

  • A non-refundable 1.5% service charge applies to all credit card transactions made at the property.
  • A valid photo ID and a credit card pre-authorisation of A$1 will be required upon check-in.
  • Guests must be 18 years of age and above in order to check-in. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or official guardian.
  • Extended Stay packages include weekly housekeeping. All other packages include daily housekeeping.
  • The hotel restaurant closes during low season from approximately 1 November to 31 March annually. During this time a breakfast box will replace the included daily continental breakfast.

Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast is good, though it could use more variety from day to day. Just a 10-minute walk to cable beach, which is super convenient. The two large pools are a big plus, and there’s plenty of space to relax and tan. Overall, a great place to stay!

Victor at the front counter was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. His professionalism and warm demeanor made me feel right at home. Highly recommend for excellent service and a great experience. Well done!

Staff were hit and miss. Some friendly and others could not care less. Breakfast on second day - they completely ran out of all food and we had a half hour wait . ( this seemed to be with the staff that didn’t care) . Breakfast on other few days was reasonable without a wait. Our dishwasher didn’t work ( they explained they could get a part for it) and one of the toilets wouldn’t flush unless we hand filled the cistern every time we used it by hand. We asked twice for it to be fixed with no luck. The pool area was lovely and the actual room ( if everything worked) was roomy and comfortable.

We stayed with an APT Kimberley tour group. The Oaks grounds and pool were lovely, but the service was very poor. Wasn't the staffs fault, it was management employing far too few staff. The few staff members we saw were rushed off their feet. No one showed us to our rooms or explained where they were located. No one explained the two door and pool card system, which led to frustration and time waste. There was a queue for drinks at the bar, due to only one server. The preordained meals were all wrong and the steak overcooked. Worst of all was breakfast. Arriving at 8am, there was nothing left. Every baymarie was empty!. There wasn't even hot water in the urn for tea and coffee. Oh, cutlery was rationed too. We got told off for asking for and extra knife. It was quite unpleasant. Would not recommend Oaks to anyone.
