I had a wonderful experience at Novotel Canberra. AJ gave impressive and personalised attentive service, and he had a great sense of humour , too. Mia was absolutely a delight. Prav at the front desk gave me a wonderful room with a balcony, when my room had to be changed. The staff at this hotel these made me feel so happy , during a busy week too. Wish you all the best , dream team ! :)

Lovely staff and thoughtful touches I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment at the Novotel and was really impressed. The room was spacious and comfortable — perfect for families. The staff were exceptionally kind and willing to think outside the box to help. There was only a dry-cleaning service available, but when I had a dirty car seat that needed washing, they kindly took it in and helped dry it after I hand-washed it. Such a thoughtful gesture! Really appreciate the help of the staff on duty. It was late around 10pm and the houseman is gone but still willing to go extra miles to help! I also loved that there’s a little play area for kids right next to reception — with toys, a tent, board games, and books. It made the stay feel extra family-friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

By the other reviews I can see I am not the only one with recent concerns. We have stayed here in the past and at that time the rooms were ok but the pool was so cold. Now the pool was once again really cold, which looks more how it is than a heater issue. It should not pool isn’t heated as makes a big difference when wanting a pool in a hotel. The room was really dusty and just worn with tears in the bed frames. The windows don’t open even a little bit for fresh air. The morning staff were very nice compared to our experience at check in the afternoon.

Filthy rooms. Toilet had not been cleaned and previous guest used towel still in bathroom! Paying $32 for parking and not guaranteed you will get a park. Plenty of awesome places to stay in Canberra. Unfortunatly Novotel is not one of them.
