We were there 10/16-10/21. The 1st thing was the awesome front desk. Dexter was the best and made sure our stay was great. Richard had alot of great advice. Our room was also good. It was always quiet. Your whole staff was always friendly. So the only- was no coffee maker or free coffee station. All and all we had a great stay.

Tagged along with my sister for a work trip. The staff, upon arrival, went above and beyond, suggesting all the places to eat and visit. They stood out with how warm and welcoming they made us feel. I look forward to visiting early next year for my son's 7v7 football tournament. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

First the good....The room is very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and ample space to spread out. Bathroom is also quite large and the walk-in shower was great. I would agree with some reviews that the furnishings are a bit outdated and the color scheme is somewhat dark with tans and browns. Nice sized refrigerator in room for your water bottles, but there is no coffee/tea maker. In fact, the hotel does not offer free coffee in the lobby either in the mornings. Fitness center was small, but had all the necessary equipment. Rooftop pool, lobby bar/restaurant were also very nice. Now the bad....upon check-in hotel said cleaning would be every other day which for me is fine. But on the second day at 6p my room was still not serviced. Front desk took no responsibility and said "It's a housekeeping issue and I should speak to the housekeeping manager." I asked to speak to the hotel manager on duty and she promised me that my room would be cleaned first thing on day #3. It wasn't serviced until 5:30p that evening. They clearly have an issue with cleaning schedules so be forewarned. All in all I think the Kimpton down on Tchoupitoulas St is a better option (stayed there last year) for the same price point (and free coffee for guests), but Nopsi isn't a bad alternative.

In a quieter part of NOLA, with cheap Ubers to Bourbon street, it’s a solid location. But the hotel has definitely seen better days. Our first room was propped open and had a plumbing issue. They gave us a new room that had a leaking pipe under the sink and a broken TV. The serviceman was very pleasant and immediately came to fix the pipe, but the TV kept having issues. Then there was a wedding and drunk people shouting in the halls after 11pm and when I called the front desk their response was “wedding just got out, it’ll be over soon” while we were trying to sleep. If the wedding party was on our floor, why did you put us there then? The hotel was not sold out. Restaurant on site was also grossly overpriced for the quality of the dinner and breakfast. That said, beds were comfortable and room was mostly clean, but like I said, older. I’d probably pass on staying here again. It was okay, but not worth the high price.
