This place is perfectly located to walk a few blocks to the French Quarter while being less than 10 minutes away from all things CBD. It is full of history with excellent service, spacious rooms, great amenities, and a beautiful rooftop bar and pool. The bartender on the rooftop, Gabe, is a bright young man. Enjoyed our conversation with him thoroughly. The concierge goes way above and beyond in exceeding your expectations and the front desk team was extremely friendly. Beautiful hotel, great price, perfect location. Highly recommend.

We just had a fantastic stay at the very friendly NOPSI. Nice big rooms well appointed good food at the restaurant, enjoyed the pool too! Best of all the wonderful staff, Kevin always smiling and helpful and our favourite AMBER! You remembered us from a previous visit which made us feel like we back at our home away from home! Thank you for the great restaurant recommendations and for always having a smile and friendly hello for us every time we saw you! NOPSI management whilst we cannot remember the names of every staff member we met everyone was a credit to the hotel, true champions who made our stay truly memorable! Thanks to each and every one of you. We’ll be back to see you all again! Martin & Nancy, Toronto Canada.

Great location. They were kind and let us check in early and leave our bags to pick up before our flight. Only thing was we had to ask twice for toilet paper. Didn’t get any service or know when they come really. And no one answered the phone for food service. But good ideal place to stay. Everything within walking distance

The cleaning schedule for the rooms was confusing. At check-in, the concierge said we’d get room service every other day, but we received none. We were also supposed to have two waters per day, which never came. We ended up tracking down a housekeeper in the hallway for extra washcloths and waters since our requests weren’t being fulfilled. The hotel states extra towels must be requested by calling, which we did — but they never arrived. When I went to check in person, the front desk attendant was on a personal call and didn’t seem to notice guests waiting. Our room itself was outdated and had maintenance issues: • The TV only had Pandora and live TV, and the remote was difficult to use. • The bathroom door wouldn’t lock or close properly due to a broken spring. • A bedside lamp was broken at the base and wouldn’t stay upright. • Our window had no view, just a brick wall, which wasn’t disclosed when booking. I had high expectations, especially since this is a Black-owned hotel with so many positive reviews, but unfortunately our room and overall stay didn’t meet those standards. That said, the valet and outside attendants were fantastic — extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming our entire stay. The location is great, and the room was “okay,” but with better follow-through on service and some updates to the rooms, it could be much better.
