7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

  • Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Our room had a balcony and outdoor lounge chairs. Neither the lounge chairs nor the outdoor table were available. It lacked a mini-fridge or coffee machine. The hotel restaurant is nice, but we didn't get a great meal. Aside from those issues, the experience was very good; the staff was very friendly and the facilities were beautiful.

I stayed for a week with my friend. The highlight of my stay was the service and the location. I had trouble checking in, but the manager and the employees at the front desk were kind and patient with me after a long day of traveling, and even offered me refreshments. Once it was resolved, I was able to relax in my room stress-free. The location is also fantastic- it is near two subway stations, easily accessible from JFK and I was able to travel without stress and get food outside the hotel whenever I wanted. The view I had from the room I was in was great, so I highly recommend the higher floors in the building facing the city. The AC was also great during the hottest days of my stay. The rooms are a little worn- I personally didn't mind all that much, but if you're sensitive to visible wear on things such as the curtain or bedframe it may be something to keep in mind. Also, things like coffeemakers or fridges aren't provided. I don't drink coffee, but there was a free coffee station downstairs for those that do. Lastly, the showers are unique as they don't have a door. There's a glass pane to prevent water getting everywhere, but it's something to keep in mind when using them.

Absolutely terrible. Giving one star, so I could review it. From the bad attitudes of the front desk staff, to the brown water coming out of the taps in the rooms, to the thermostat that didn't work in the rooms, to the painted over mold in the rooms, and did I mention the rude attitudes of the front desk staff...if anyone is there at all.

Incompetence at every level! I called to make reservations. First of all when it says press 1 you get an out of service dial tone. Then I called back to speak with front desk and before I finished my sentence she transferred me to reservations line. I asked the woman taking my reservations if I could request a roll away bed and she said yes. I asked for a fee? She said she’s not sure she’ll ask. I waited on the live for like 2 minutes and the call got transferred to the front desk who couldn’t help me with reservations and said that they don’t have rollaway beds. So already customer service is terrible and apparently the reservations people have no idea what’s allowed and what’s not!! Don’t even go there!
