Our family had an unforgettable holiday at Mykonos Blu, A Grecotel Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The rooms were beautifully designed, spacious, and perfectly maintained, offering breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. The location is truly unbeatable — right on one of the most stunning beaches in Mykonos, with easy access to all the island’s highlights. A very special thank you to Mr. Giachos and Mrs. Maria for going above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Their personal attention, kindness, and dedication to guests’ comfort truly reflect the highest standards of Greek hospitality. We stayed at this hotel in June 2025. We booked a more expensive room – €1500 per night – with a private pool and sea view (Open Plan Suite Private Pool). On the last night, we returned from dinner around 10 PM. My wife went to take a shower and called me 5–10 minutes later because the entire floor was covered in water – it was leaking from the drain behind the toilet. I called for service, but they only arrived around 11:30 PM. After 20 minutes, they said they couldn’t fix the issue and would provide us with another room. They did, but the new room was of a lower category and clearly worse. We didn’t want to stay there, but they insisted, saying it would be free of charge (well, of course I wouldn’t pay for that room). In the end, I decided to take a shower in the new room and then sleep in our original suite. I asked for housekeeping to clean our room, but they told me housekeeping doesn’t work at night. Overall, this hotel is very poor for the price – definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone. The beach is also bad – very hard sand, uncomfortable for kids. This is a 3.5–4 star hotel at best, definitely not a 5-star. If you’re an experienced traveler but visiting Mykonos for the first time, I strongly recommend looking for a better hotel.
