Mt. Mulligan Lodge is located in Queensland’s outback, 160 kilometres northwest of Cairns. There are a few transport options to and from the property: arrive in ultimate style via 35-minute helicopter transfer, or travel by 4WD in approximately 2.5 to three hours from Cairns Airport (CNS). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

My recent stay at MT Mulligan was fantastic! The location and views were stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Nieve who went above and beyond to assist with activities and recommendations. The room was beautifully presented, and a great view. The food was delicious and had a wide variety of options. Thank you so much for making my trip memorable. I would love to visit again.

A Perfect 60th Birthday Celebration at Mt Mulligan Lodge We recently spent three unforgettable nights at Mt Mulligan Lodge to celebrate my partner's 60th birthday, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking surroundings in the heart of Queensland’s outback. The lodge itself is stunning, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. From the front desk to the guides, the wait staff, and the cleaning team, every single person we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. The chefs deserve special mention for creating such incredible feasts that showcased local ingredients and flavours. Every meal was an experience. The attention to detail, from the service to the atmosphere, made this trip beyond memorable. Whether it was a guided tour or simply relaxing in the serene beauty of the lodge, Mt Mulligan exceeded all our expectations. We will cherish this special getaway for years to come.
