Mercure Resort Sanur

Our stay at the Mercure Sanur Resort was nothing short of excellent. The staff were so efficient and friendly that we started to wonder if they were secretly competing in a “Who Can Make the Guests Smile First” contest. Spoiler alert: they all won. The location? Brilliant. Smack-bang on the beachfront — close enough that you could almost order a cocktail and have it delivered by a passing wave. We made full use of the resort facilities, especially the pools. In fact, we tested them so thoroughly we’re considering submitting our findings to the Guinness Book of World Records for “Most Hours Spent Perfecting the Pool Float Pose.” This time, we skipped the tours — partly to relax, partly because our bodies demanded we stay horizontal near water. Luckily, the resort staff provided excellent information on local activities, and we could see many other guests charging off enthusiastically. We waved them goodbye with the noble sacrifice of staying behind to monitor the sun loungers. The Mercure Sanur offers great value for money in a fantastic setting, and it’s easy to see why guests return again and again. Now, for the one tiny negative: while the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, they did look a little “experienced.” Think of them as seasoned travellers themselves — a few scuffs, a little wear, but still plenty of charm. A touch of renovation and they’d be as fresh as we felt after our first dip in the pool. Final Verdict: Would we stay again? Absolutely. In fact, we’re tempted to move in permanently… but we’re not sure the staff signed up for adopting us as part of the furniture.

An amazing stay! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The location is strategic, close to the city center, making it easy to get around. Definitely will come back here again!

I really enjoyed our stay at Sanur Mercury. The highlight was definitely the amazing food near the pool and the excellent beachfront location. The service was outstanding, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, offering great choices for every taste. The bungalows are surrounded by lush green trees, making the place feel very private and peaceful. The pool area is beautiful, with vibrant flowers adding to the relaxing atmosphere. We also loved that bikes were available both day and night, making it easy to explore.

very nice vintage hotel. very well maintained and the room is super clean. we can see the staffs are very concern to keep the garden area clean. the breakfast also beyond expectation with lot of choices, the waffle is the best! Staffs very helpful and friendly, always providing. very recommended, will stay again.
