We stayed here to prepare to go to Halong Bay and experience another city. The room and hotel are amazing. Breakfast is a buffet and changes every day. It's worth the price. We ordered room service and ate in the restaurant due to low ratings of surrounding restaurants. Room service is great, but should knock before opening the door. The Mercure staff worked to make sure we were comfortable and needed nothing. Staff throughout the hotel is friendly. The rooftop pool is enjoyable and provides a spectacular view of the city. We didn't use the gym, but it has everything needed for a workout. They were preparing to paint the building, and there were no distractions or disturbances during the stay. I would love to see the building after the painting is complete.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The front desk team was incredibly polite and efficient, making check-in a breeze. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with spotless rooms and a relaxing atmosphere. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, ensuring everything was perfect throughout my stay. A special mention to the manager Mr. Brad Son, who was always present and attentive, ensuring guests were well taken care of. It’s clear that leadership here sets a high standard of hospitality. The on-site restaurant was a highlight—delicious meals, beautifully presented, and with excellent service. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, every dish was flavorful and fresh. I truly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top-tier service, comfort, and dining. The bartender David is a lovely guy who was excited to brew new signature cocktails for me. Looking forward to my next visit!

하이퐁에서 이 호텔을 강력 추천합니다! :) Highly recommend this hotel in Haiphong! I visited Haiphong while traveling between Hanoi and Halong Bay. My stay at Mercure Haiphong was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. (I usually don’t bother writing reviews unless I’m either very satisfied or very dissatisfied, but this hotel definitely deserves a good one!) The view from the swimming pool was absolutely amazing - even on a cloudy day!! This hotel was clean, and every staff member I encountered was friendly, especially the woman at the front desk who checked me in and out (Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name). I was also really touched by the general manager's gesture. They gave a special letter for my special occasion, signed by the general manager. It made me feel they truly cared about me. :) And the breakfast was obviously delicious! I really liked the international selections, Korean, Chinese, American, Vietnamese, and more. There weren't a lot of dishes, but everything was tasty. (Especially the noodle soup! A must-try! There's no need to go anywhere else for noodle soup in Vietnam.) I will definitely stay at the Mercure Haiphong again when I visit Haiphong!

Super Duper hotel this is. Loved the stay n most importantly the staff was very courteous n attentive. They ensured we are made comfortable with the changes in food, even if it was not on menu. Breakfast is very good n highly recommended. Manager Ms Loan was super cordial. She knew about the wines n recommended us some during our dinner. Mr Brad SON is a gr88 General Manager as he went around checking with guests about their comfort. He was personally present during check-out to ensure everything goes smooth. Shall come back here whenever I am in Hai Phong next. Highly recommended 👍🏼
