Exceptional Service and a Memorable Stay at Marquis I would like to express my gratitude for the excellent service we received during our stay at Marquis. Bryan at the front desk went above and beyond for us on several occasions and truly took such good care of us. We also want to recognize the outstanding service from the dining staff—Isabel and David, along with Donald at Sakke, who were incredible. On our final evening, dining at Canto del Mar was the perfect way to end our trip. Unfortunately, I do not recall the names of the servers there, but their service was flawless and left a lasting impression. Housekeeping was spectacular. Our room was wonderfully clean, and we never had to wait for anything. The towels were always fresh, and the staff was extremely respectful with our belongings. The nightly turndown service felt indulgent and added a special touch to our stay. The food was amazing everywhere we ate, and the views were absolutely stunning—truly the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. What stood out most was that I never had to ask for help; someone was always there, ready to assist with kindness and professionalism. In addition, DreamArt on site provided us with amazing photographs that captured such special memories as I celebrated my birthday. Overall, the professionalism, care, and warmth of the staff made this a truly memorable experience. We will absolutely be back, and I am sincerely grateful for everything that made this stay unforgettable.

My wife and I had our first ever experience at an all inclusive resort here and it was excellent! The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, the location is beautiful, and the food is delicious. Ate so much ceviche and tacos it was incredible. This resort is far enough away from the city center to have a nice serene view of the beach and a quiet atmosphere. The infinity pools over the beautiful beach. Unfortunately, the only swimmable beach is about 1 mile walk to the neighboring Hilton. Definitely worth it though if you’re looking for a beach swim. Our only suggestion to the resort would be to have a swimmable area that is shaded. The sun is very strong here so reapply sunscreen often! One custom we weren’t aware of is the tipping culture in Mexico, even at an all-inclusive resort, so make sure to bring extra cash - pesos and dollars seem to be welcomed. The maintenance crew was repainting outside of our room, and the staff was very gracious and quick to change our room due to the strong fumes. Thank you Marquis!

These people are amazing. I can tell the idea behind this resort is that everything the guest touches, sees, tastes, hears and does is fantastic. I observed staff running strict quality control measures, taking pictures of things that didn’t look right followed by more personnel later coming to fix whatever was reported. The beach is not very friendly, but who cares when you got these amazing pools and food and drink service by the pool all day. The rooms were amazing too, slept like a king. The restaurants and food is out of this world. Fine dinning every night. It was amazing. Everyone wants to go to the Italian restaurant but give the Japanese (table service NOT hibachi, you can do that at home!) and Mexican restaurant a chance and you will not be disappointed. I loved every minute I was there. I will definitely be going back.

This is advertised as a four star reserve, and by all accounts, the service and the people that work here are the nicest and the most noble people I’ve ever encountered. Unfortunately, I can see that the upper management is neglecting some of the key components to maintain a great facility that is worthy of a four or five star resort. To start with the paint on the side of the building has rust stains, which could easily be addressed with some painting.. all the railings have rusted due to proximity to the salt, air and salt water. That is also something that could easily be in pain.. the chairs on the balconies have holes in it and that’s no excuse they could easily be. The restaurants were excellent we had great experience. We enjoyed lunches at Dos Mares which offered fresh seafood. The server, Maricruze and Erick ans Isabelle ar the pool side were excellent and very friendly. The music at the pergola playing guitar was nice and the show of the retro was entertaining, but the Cuban knife music was not good. We were unable to get into Bacalau which is open for dinners that was disappointing. Two of the four elevators were not working.
