Would rate this a 3star hotel, rooms are alittle dated but clean and good value. Location is great, parking is reasonable at $20 per day. If you are looking for location but not fussed about staying in a fancy hotel this is a good option. Staff were friendly and helpful with any request we had. One bedroom apartment was basic but spacious, with kitchen washer and dryer.

The hotel/appartments are in a great location with walking distance to the centre of Canberra. While our one bedroom apartment was a great size, it was something out of the 80's and needs a good refurbishment. It was dull, dreary and sparse and the bathroom tiles needed new grouting, as they were a little stained/mouldy. I'm glad that breakfast was included with my accomodation or I would have been asking for my money back. It was one of the worst buffet breakfast I've ever had, both in variety and taste. We didn't know (as there were no signs) that you had to ask for pancakes (which were more like piklets), and you could ask for eggs a different way (only scrambled on buffet). Definitely not worth the $38 they are charging. I was also a little bit disturbed that they charge $20 a day for parking, knowing that 90% of the people coming would have a car and they have a decent sized carpark. The front counter staff were very pleasant and accomodating, but a little slow. I would stay here again, for the location and the size of the room, not for the ambiance or the food.

To be honest, it's ok. Not good, - the bathroom had an odd smell when I arrived, I reported it but didn't see a response. - The room was a good size (I think I was upgraded and I appreciate that) and while they've been renovated, only some parts are new. - The lock on the door had been removed so I didn't feel very comfortable about that. - found food under a lounge chair after I moved it a bit - so feel the cleaning service is only average. - the location of the pool, sauna and gym facilities are definitely does not offer a safe environment. I wouldn't recommend as my first option.
