Room was a little dated but very comfortable. The bed and pillows were fantastic. Short stroll to the casino and inner city sights. Staff were extremely lovely upon check in/out. Would definitely stay again.

Positives: It is a great location, accessible to many places in the CBD by foot. The receptionist was well mannered and helpful, they provide fresh towels as needed. Lift was quick to arrive. Everything in the room was functioning. Space was large. Negatives: Lobby had a weird oily smell like that of a kitchen. Walk way to my room also had a bad smell, thankfully there was no smell in my room. Everything in the room was old and dated. Carpets were stained, things generally felt old and looked overused. The shower area was the bathtub which was very high, it was difficult for even a young person like me to get in and out of. Will I stay here again? Only if I get a very good price and if I am staying alone.

It is incredibly misleading to call this place a four star hotel. The photos make the hotel appear better than it is. I felt like I was staying in a low quality air BnB. There was no restaurant down stairs, no room service, no room maintenance for a three night stay, the milk in the fridge was from the previous guest. The positives is an excellent location. Felt safe despite feeling like a residential accommodation. Friendly staff. The accommodation was dated but tidy. Overall, it wasn’t the nicest vibe and I was left disappointed. Like others have mentioned, there is construction near by which was disruptive overnight. The curtains were thin and allowed light to pass through. A friend paid fractionally more for a similar size apartment across the street— I should have booked there as she actually stayed in a four star hotel with the expected inclusions.

Very dated and tired building. Room was poorly decorated with soiled cream carpet. Second bed was inside a tiny alcove looking like a walk in robe. Not other furniture around it, not even a bedside table or lamp. Shower was located inside a very high bathtub, which was incredibly difficult to climb over if you are an older person. We asked for the higher floors but they couldn't accommodate us. Price of room was not worth it at all. Wanting to extend our stay in Brisbane, we moved to another hotel around the corner for a better room with a view of the River and wheel, and we even saved money. Unless they upgrade and renovate, I can't see myself returning.
