We would have to say that the customer experience on this occasion was outstanding from the Front Desk gentlemen Arnel to the young gentleman at the Restaurant whilst we dinned and the friendly lady at Breakfast. Our overall experience was not a 10, but an 11. This set of staff could not be more Friendly, kind, accomodating and helpful. We hope that they stay on board as they are what makes a difference to a guest. So thank you. We couldn't speak more highly.

I don’t have a mobility aid but I thought I’d post for others about the accessible room. There are lifts and drop-off/pickup parking outside. The room was large. The furniture was light weight and able to be moved if required for a wheelchair (I found this out when looking for the TV remote under the couch). Roll-in bathroom and shower with a fold down shower seat. Grab handles for the toilet and a little trolley for towels that could be moved to make more space. There wasn’t a whole lot of space down the side of the bed for a wheelchair or walker user but it could possibly be moved more to one side to create space for a wheelchair. There was a little kitchenette with a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, a sink and mini fridge. There is no hot plate so you can’t cook but you can warm food up. I gave 4 stars because I couldn’t find the remote to use the tv, the hand soap pump didn’t pump any soap and there was a weird green stain on the carpet. The staff were helpful and I had a nice stay. Parking was free in the evenings on the street but more restrictive during the day. I would stay again.

Location was perfect! We had a car but the light rail is literally across the road. Hotel rooms feel a little outdated but we were given one room with a kitchenette which was great for extra space and the table and chairs. Breakfast is great but after 5 days of the same it’s a bit much. Would have liked to see something different in the time. Service was great staff were very helpful.

THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING THIS HOTEL. I am a Platinum member and this was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. The staff were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Despite requesting room cleaning, it was never done, and when I followed up I was told, “we have no housekeeping in the house.” Is this really the standard of a MANTRA hotel? To make things worse, I requested a late check-out. Instead of checking the system, the staff simply said, “come back tomorrow morning and ask again.” When I did, the same person told me they couldn’t allow it because there weren’t enough staff, and the latest they could give was 11 a.m. Honestly, if everyone checks out at the same time, how can housekeeping possibly clean all the rooms at once? It made no sense. If they had just told me the night before, “sorry, we’re fully booked, late check-out isn’t possible,” I wouldn’t have had to waste my time asking again in the morning. Breakfast was equally disappointing. Staff stood around ignoring guests, offering no service at all. We ordered fried eggs that were completely forgotten. On top of that, the parking was horrible — poorly managed and stressful for guests. This level of service is unacceptable. If you value proper service and basic hospitality, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
