Nupelda was incredible! Every day she checked in, offered wonderful recommendations, and even helped us make reservations at different restaurants around Bodrum — plus at the spa. We had the most magical experience. When I travel, I usually love exploring outside the hotel or resort, but this time it was hard to leave — everything was that amazing. What an absolutely incredible place to honeymoon — I couldn’t recommend it more. Oxana and the entire team in the spa and salon were also fantastic — truly 10/10 service.

Our stay at the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum was absolutely exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make my fiancé’s birthday truly special. A heartfelt thank you to Nupelda, who was simply outstanding — she took care of every detail with such kindness and professionalism. From organizing a beautiful birthday surprise to helping us book activities and even arranging a late checkout, she made everything seamless. Her thoughtfulness and warmth genuinely made this trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back — largely because of the incredible experience she created for us.

Property is beautiful and the amenities are next level, truly not comparable to any other hotel in the world. The only comment here is the service is variable all over the property. You could have wonderful staff at the spa and at the restaurants, then go to the beach and no one comes over to take orders or help set up beach chairs. This would not deter me from going again, this is an amazing location and a spectacular hotel. They just need to create consistency across service.

We were initially excited to stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum for our honeymoon, but we left somewhat disappointed. We stayed there in late October, which is the end of the tourist season at Bodrum. This was not intentional, but done as our wedding was in October. Instead of either keeping the resort either fully open, or fully closed, MO Bodrum sits in the middle. There is only one restaurant left open. Other parts of the resort are closed and covered. Most shops are boarded. It felt eerie, akin to a ghost-town, walking through the grounds. As the resort started to wind down, so did the service at times. While the front desk and room service remained exceptional through the stay, dining service waned. We stopped receiving the menu on our last two days dining, and staff members came by our table much less frequently. Overall, I understand financially why it may be viable to continue having the resort open despite the wind-down in facilities and services in October. However, this made for an overall poor guest experience. The facilities are (presumably) very nice, and I'm sure the experience is much different in the summer. A proposed compromise may be to be more clear and direct about the facilities available upon booking. This would allow for a more informed decision and tempered expectations.
