Stayed 2 nights, great hotel very well designed. Rooms had very high ceilings on second floor and the view of the main square is nice. Lobby bar and the included breakfast were also great. Nice central location for Porto can walk to the river easily.

This hotel provides a truly luxurious experience. From my correspondence with Daniela, concierge of the hotel, prior to my arrival, wherein she offered suggestions for restaurants and activities, to the warm greetings by each employee at the lobby and in the breakfast room every day, my wife and I were made to feel truly welcomed. The hotel and our room were beautiful, and the location is perfect. We had a wonderful stay at Le Monumental Palace.

The spa is amazing and the team is so caring 😍 If you're looking to unwind in a haven of well-being, take advantage of the expertise and kindness of the spa staff. I had a wonderful treatment with Gisele, whose technique and gentleness really helped me relax. And Guillermo gave me such a warm welcome at the front desk, so unique — I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you for everything, I’ll definitely be back ☀️

Maison Albar is perfectly located, central to all the tourist locations and downtown. The major street the hotel is on has a very wide sidewalk as well so that it doesn’t feel like cars are in your face when you step out or are waiting for tour guides to pick you up. Hotel is beautiful, well decorated and high ceilings in rooms. We have never been to a hotel that has such high ceilings; it really made the room look and feel much larger. The rooms are also spacious, giving you room to walk around even with luggage around. Bathrooms are big and toilets are in their own enclosed area, allowing others to use the bathroom while you are in the toilet. The only issue with the toilet and bathroom is that there is no exhaust, lacking circulation. This results in smells lingering or escaping into the room. Breakfast is also well set up and has plenty of options. There’s a large menu to choose from and the buffet has everything you would want for breakfast. We did not try the restaurant in the lobby as it did not have many vegetarian options. There is also a bar right off the lobby which looks nice, but we did not visit it in the evening. If you are debating the right hotel in Porto, this is the perfect hotel. It is beautifully set up, spacious, and in prime location for you to walk to all the tourist areas in Porto.
