I very much enjoyed my stay on this small island. There were below 50 people (guests and staff members) staying there for the night which is a nice and different experience after travelling to major cities of Australia and Oceania. This resort offers a great and real experience of Fiji. The staff are friendly and keep entertaining guests with many activities and shows from the morning till the evening. You can for example for free do a boat trip to go snorkelling, rent kayaks or admire the staff members performing local Fijian dances or showing also their other talents. I really enjoyed staying in a unique bure - a Fijian hut with a private bathroom - and even taking shower there with sun & trees, rain or night sky above me! (there's no roof under the shower). :D You need to buy an obligatory meal plan (the food is very tasty and local) and beverages (excluding water, tea and coffee that are offered for free). I also needed to get a private (not shared) transport from the airport - by shuttle and then by boat because I landed in Fiji in the early evening. So bear in mind that there are additional expenses - but it's all worth it so no complaints. Vinaka vakalevu! :)

This place is epic for families. Plenty of activities and night time shows/karaoke/games. We had an aircon beach bure for us and a garden bure for the kids (12&17). The food was buffet style and decent. Is this a super fancy resort with all modern conveniences just like home? No! Do you feel like your staying with a Fijian family on remote Fijian island? YES! We can’t wait to come back with as my friends as possible next year. Shawn, Tooks, Bubble Gum, Ruth and everyone during our stay were absolute legends.

We loved our time at Likuri Island resort. It was beautiful and very relaxed. If you wanted to get involved, there were lots of activities or you could always find solitude on a lounger or hammock. The staff were impressive - constantly busy but always a friendly Bula and a chat. Highly recommend!

Be aware for hidden costs: upon arrival I learned about the mandatory meal plan which in general I can understand and I am willing to pay for. However, money was NOT worth the value. Same counts for the ferry transfer which was ridiculously overpriced. The activities are crammed and not respectful to the environment: everyone knows you should not stand on the reef? Water was unfortunately quite polluted by the time I visited. Ultimately I have no other explanation but that they stole a piece of my clothing.I left the island quite hurriedly, but by the end of the ferry ride to the jetty I realized I left a piece of clothing to dry outside the bedroom and let the staff know. They confirmed that they would return it with the next boat. Upon my return in the afternoon, nothing was there. Calling the reception they dismissed me extremely rudely. Ultimately, the bus ride back to town will only drop you to a RESORT, any other place will not be offered even though I spent at least 30 minutes extra because of all the drop offs. Of course the staff missed out on communicating that beforehand and promised me that any drop off in Nadi can be accepted. Sadly this was not the experience it was sold to be, probably better off on the mainland.
