If you’re looking to completely unwind then this is the perfect place to do so … I recently stayed for 3 nights and to be honest it wasn’t long enough! Some of the things that I thought would be inconvenient or less than ideal actually didn’t really matter as I settled into switching off … There is no WiFi in the rooms ( and my data hadn’t connected) in the end was lovely. I was sure about having to have the meal plan and eat buffet style 3 times a day , I was pleasantly surprised that there was enough variety to choose something different every day. I can highly recommend the freshly cooked omelettes every morning for breakfast. There were plenty of activities happening on the island that were posted on a board every morning. Do as many or as little as the day takes you. The island shows were a highlight as were the night time activities for guests such as karaoke , sunset cruise and traditional dancing lessons. The room was fantastic and I loved that I could sit outside and look at the ocean and a swim was only a few meters away… pure bliss. Had a wonderful massage in the spa , such a nice treat and so relaxing. The staff are definitely one of the greatest assets of the island and nothing was a bother for them. Overall if you’re wanting 5 star luxury… this isn’t the place for you . If you want to unwind, relax and enjoy the quieter side of life in paradise then book now . Will definitely be returning next year, only thing I’ll change is , I’ll stay longer.

We stayed for 7 nights in a beachfront bure. Wow, what an amazing and truly special place Likuri island is. Everywhere you go, you're only a few steps from the beach. The Bures are super comfortable - nice big beds, air con, ceiling fan. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style in an authentic Fijian way - absolutely delicious home-cooked food with loads to choose from. One of us is a pescatarian (and a bit fussy) and they ate very well! There's also a day menu of wraps (the felafel one is delicious) and sandwiches, plus a kids menu if you fancy a change from the buffet. Committing to a meal plan is part of the deal which we were a bit unsure of, but in reality it was very, very good. Even a special Diwali evening was laid on which was superb. The sunset cruise was also really special - being serenaded watching turtles bob up and down on the Reef was brilliant. There's a program of events and activities which varies each day, all focused on Fijian culture. Plus there are kayaks, fishing, snorkeling and banana boat thrill rides if that"s your thing. There are day visitors arriving and 3 times a week the evenings were busy for the Pacific Islands show, but this added to a vibrant atmosphere. The fire dancing is unreal - we watched in awe all 3 times! Now the people - oh my word, the team who run this place work so incredibly hard to ensure you enjoy every single moment. They are all attentive and utterly adorable and take a great deal of pride in the service they offer. The general manager Margarita (an Australian married to a Fijian) is engaging and genuinely interested in guests experiences and feedback. We LOVED our stay on the island and would go back in a heartbeat.

Our stay at Likuri Island Resort was nothing short of magical. The food was absolutely delicious, with every meal full of flavour and freshness. The cultural performances were breathtaking – the dancers were incredible and gave us such a special glimpse into the richness of Fijian tradition. Swimming in the crystal-clear island waters was pure bliss, like stepping into paradise itself. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the hospitality – warm, genuine, and beautifully heartfelt. Likuri Island is a place that leaves you feeling enriched, relaxed, and already dreaming of returning. Margarita the island boss lady went above and beyond to make sure everyone was well looked after adding a very personal touch to an incredibly beautiful holiday!

Beautiful location with great island vibes, but overall poor value for money. The beachfront bures are comfortable and in good condition, with decent showers and hot water. Air conditioning wasn’t needed in August. However, many aspects felt like cost-cutting. Boat transfers are overpriced, while a local village visit offers nearly the same for half the price. The beach was only cleaned when day guests were expected. Food was basic, carb heavy, and expensive, with the lowest quality chicken (containing bones) and sugary juice. There’s no accommodation for dietary needs like vegan or gluten free (despite requesting that ahead of time), and even plain water during meals isn’t complimentary. Free coffee is instant only, and no milk alternatives are available. Room cleaning didn’t happen at the frequency advertised, only once in eight nights, and rubbish wasn’t collected or supplies restocked. Wifi is pay per use and very costly. The lack of complimentary water and constant upselling, like happy hour turning into a paid cruise, made it feel like guests were being milked. Fire shows were entertaining, but the frequent smoke from fires and cigarettes, including staff, was unpleasant.
