Situated on the north-west coast of Mauritius, Le Méridien Ile Maurice offers easy access to many of Mauritius’s best sights; the golden beaches of the Grand Baie and the island’s vibrant capital, Port Louis, are both within a 30-minute drive. The hotel is located approximately a 60-minute drive from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

We had such a lovely time there. Everything is just so good about the resort. The cleanliness, the food, the ambience, the service...everything just perfect. Special mention for SANDRINE, LAKSHMI and ASHA. All 3 of them are Lovely and made us so comfortable. Except POOJA R...we did not like her attitude and behaviour towards the guests. Very rude. Rest everything was so good. Would love to visit again.

The resort is just exceptional with unparalleled service. We had a wonderful experience personally interacting with Mr. Shayaad who was at guest services at the time of check-in and was available on call whenever needed on whatsapp. He accommodated our room request and gave us the best available option in our category. Right from the in room dining team, Mr Jimmy (manager) to the housekeeping staff to water sports centre located in the property and every restaurants team; all contributed extensively contributed to our pleasant stay. The enormous property sites and different areas to enjoy sunset was the cherry on top. 6 days didn’t feel too much to spend on a property without stepping out much. The main USP of this property that I haven’t seen in a lot of other neighbouring places and resorts in this league is the room opens onto the beach front. Very few properties have this facility. The junior suite beach facing was a divine experience truly. The only thing that I would have loved to have differently is that I wish the beach attached to the resort would be more sandy and less pebbles for ease in swimming and walking on the shore.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! Everything was excellent — from the delicious food to the amazing room service. The communication with the staff was smooth and easy, which made our experience even better. I would especially like to thank Hisham for his kindness and professionalism — he truly made our stay more special. I liked everything about the hotel.

I recently spent 9 days at Le Méridien. my overall experience did not meet expectations, especially compared to other five-star hotels. First, don’t let the price fool you — the experience doesn’t reflect the cost. The hotel was very crowded, and the service and facilities didn’t live up to a premium stay. A big surprise was that there are no elevators. You’ll need to use stairs, which is especially inconvenient for families, elderly guests, or anyone with luggage. This made me seriously question the 5-star rating — it honestly feels more like a 4-star hotel. The pool was too cold for kids to swim in, and there was no heater. That’s something I now recommend checking before booking any hotel, especially if you’re traveling with children. The room design could be smarter — in our case, the bathroom was larger than the bedroom, which made us laugh but also wonder about the layout choices. The reception team was not friendly or efficient, and I often had to follow up repeatedly to get basic requests handled. The one highlight was Nomad Restaurant. It offered a great variety of dishes every day, and the food quality was excellent. Overall, the hotel has potential but falls short in several key areas — service, comfort, and practicality. If you’re traveling with kids or expecting a true five-star experience, I’d recommend considering other options.
