As a local photographer, I had the honor of photographing a client's baby shower at The Nectar Room, and it was a DREAM. The design was so clean, the lighting was stunning, and the food they prepared was not only delicious, but was presented so beautifully! The guests felt comfortable and there was plenty of space for activities and mingling. I've also been in the lobby and sculpture garden areas a few times, and it's all so creatively designed! Their staff is attentive to detail and the eclectic decor makes this hotel and venue one-of-a-kind.

We were there for my daughter’s wedding that was happening on the property; ceremony outside and reception inside. The grounds are well kept and beautiful but prepare to bring your own flower arrangements and set up. They only provide chairs and water for $5000. Then if you have 50 quests for cocktail hour be prepared to get 1 per quest and if someone takes 2 there will be no more. The premium bar entails 6 types of liquors; 3 are wines and beers. So nothing premium about that service. Champagne will be placed at your table when your guests walk in so if you want a champagne toast with the cutting of the cake; tell the wedding coordinator not to put the champagne out early. Maybe just the glasses. You have to pay for ALL of your extras, flowers, arch, table centerpieces, table cloths, you even have to pay for them to cover the ball room walls to make it more of a wedding than a boardroom meeting center (which is what it is) and if they have to use a third party vendor YOU PAY the 25% service charge not the Venue. Very nickel and dime. Ala carte and the wedding coordinator is cold and heartless. Overall the ceremony turned out beautiful for my daughter and son in law and that’s what made me happy. But the stress that they made me feel is irreplaceable. I would definitely find another vendor that truly is a one stop shop and can handle a wedding.
