I had an excellent time at the Kimpton Marlowe with my family. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming (extra special thanks to Michael, who was very attentive of my family during our stay). The hotel is very conveniently located, in a beautiful spot overlooking the river. It was a great hub for exploring Cambridge and Boston. Extremely walkable. The restaurant downstairs was very convenient (and tasty) for breakfast. The lobby was very cozy with the fireplace and morning coffee/evening wine. The rooms felt luxe and were extremely comfortable. I strongly recommend this hotel to any considering a stay in Boston!!

This hotel is so nice. Clean, beautiful, great location. It has things to do outside and inside with a beautiful ambience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee served in the morning, refillable water station and water provided in the lobby as well. The restaurant attached was so good we went for breakfast and dinner and both amazing. Room was clean, spacious, bed was so comfortable and me and husband loved the little radio that was on the nightstand. The gym is a little tight but it gets the job for a quick workout to get in while away. Parking was good, $30 self parking not too bad as the location of the hotel is great and close to everything and attached to a mall and elevator directly into parking lot. Dog friendly hotel, so many cute pups and weddings were also going on during our stay! We really enjoyed our stay overall and we would definitely stay again!

Had a great stay at the Kimpton Marlowe hotel. The location cannot be beat. I stayed here for a work trip and then extended my stay over the weekend. It was very easy to get here from the airport via rideshare. It was also easy to get to Harvard, Cambridge, and downtown. The surrounding area is beautiful and green. The hotel staff were nice and friendly. The rooms did show signs of age but everything worked well and it was clean. The only feedback I have is to have better labeled signs. We were asking the front desk where the water was (that wasn't the 9 dollar sparkling water bottle in the room) and were only told of the smaller bottled sparkling water. We found out there was a place to fill up water every odd floor by the ice machines but that was easily missed because there were no signs saying water was available. We also ran into another guest who was also filling their water bottle at the gym so it isn't an isolated request.

Stayed at Kimpton Marlowe Hotel a few weeks ago for a quick overnight trip. It wasn't a bad hotel, but I felt like the value was really lacking. Room rate for our trip was almost $500 for 1 night in a room with a king exterior view. Check in was easy, hotel has a great little courtyard for ride-share pickup/drop off. I was trying to watch something on arrival and saw that I could stream from phone to a Chromecast in the room, but I wasn't able to make it work. After looking at the TV, I saw that there wasn't a Chromecast connected, just a cable dangling back there. Not worth troubling the front desk about since I had other stuff to do and the game I was watching was almost over, but a bit annoying. Room was clean, but some of the fixtures look a bit beat up (corrosion in bathroom, hiding paper to level door hinges, cracking trim.) The fridge was empty, so my wife went down to the bodega to get some drinks and snacks, where the front desk staff kind of hovered to get her stuff; not bad, just sort of an odd system for an adult to not be able to get what they need and pay for it or have it in a room fitted with a fridge? Beds were comfy, and we slept well, felt like a standard hotel sleeping experience in terms of noise. The next morning I came downstairs to get coffee, and there were no cups, had to wait about 5 minutes for cups to be brought to the bar area. Hotel is located around loads, it's an awesome location. None of this stuff is that big of a deal but I figured when spending almost $500 for a room there may be a bit of luxury in it. All in all, it felt like a pretty standard hotel with some modern wallpaper.
