People have to get over it. This is a great hotel, beautiful looking place, perfect location, rooms yes a bit small but not too bad really. Breakfast was great too

The hotel set up is like a maze. Room & service are awesome. Aurora Spa & Bathhouse is a must to relax & rejuvenate even if you are not staying at this hotel. The food from Conti Bar is awesome aside from the Buffalo Wings which are a bit plain for me even they are served with 4 type of different dipping sauces. Buffets breakfast options are little limited for 5 stars hotel. The sour dough bread is hard & bacon tasted like overnight cooked & reheated in the morning. Eggs your way cooked by chef is the highlight of the buffet breakfast.

We stayed there 2 nights last week, our stay was pleasant enough. I thought I was doing the right thing for the environment by selecting not to have our sheets or towels changed for the 2 days we were there. Well not only did I have to make my own bed our milk, water, drink toiletries were not replenished. When you pay over $500 per night you expect a lot more than that. When I mentioned it to staff the following morning it was like oh ok I will mention it to management. Sorry not good enough, for a supposed top rate Luxury Hotel. Didn't hear back for an explanation or apology.

We stayed here for the weekend as we had an event in Sorrento Saturday. First impressions were positive. The group has spent a lot of money on the renovation of the site. However it really is nothing special - staffing wise it lacks a degree of professionalisation and attention to detail. The service is sloppy and lacklustre. Requests take an unusual amount of time and need to be followed up on. There was no sighting of the GM the entire weekend. A good property has an active and present manager. A few observations: Breakfast is lacklustre and just feels a little chaotic. The omelettes are not good and really the main offering. It lacks thought and attention. We ate at Elba one night (near the hotel - excellent) as Audrey’s was closed and not mentioned on their website. Another night we ate in the pub and the food wasn’t very good. In the room the glassware was dirty. The room design is quite off: bathroom tapware means bath takes 30 mins to fill. The bedside tables are oddly quite far away from the bed so rendered useless. The minibar is complimentary however they only stock it with soft drink. We asked for sparkling water and this was declined. The bathhouse is a seperate business: which isn’t 100% clear when booking. It was closed on the Friday. They really missed an opportunity in cooler months to have a hot tub on the pool deck. The gym facilities are quite good though. We had an Amex in property credit of 100 usd. The hotel doesn’t use a reasonable exchange rate. It’s immaterial but at the same time unethical. I told them this they said they’d follow up and just didn’t. I would have just provided this feedback directly however they just didn’t ask how our stay was. If in Sorrento and looking for accommodation then it’s really your only option. However I wouldn’t make this a destination choice.
