I highly recommend this hotel..can't beat the location and the service this hotel provides! We had booked 3 Broadway shows on different nights and could walk to all of them! Exploring all the different restaurants in the area and getting to the subway was an easy task too. The hotel staff were very helpful. The night before we were leaving, we checked with the hotel attendant outside regarding catching an Uber to JFK. He answered our questions and also offered that he could order us a car to pick us up in the morning. It sounded so much easier and the cost was less than the Uber would have cost. All in all, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Highly recommend; close to Times Sq, to the theatres and also to Hell's Kitchen district. Good breakfasts, and tasty meals at The Stinger Cocktail Bar & Kitchen on the ground floor. Nice view from upper floors. To the cons: pretty loudly outdoor in the night.

An absolute treasure of a hotel! Everything in this hotel is top notch! The part of the stay that really took our trip from excellent to extravagant was The Stinger Bar! We stopped there for a quick bite and some drinks before heading out to explore the city. While the food and drinks were exceptional, the service from Eduardo really took the experience from a 10 to a 100! He was one of the most personable people I ever talked to during my visit, and the passion he exuded in his service made everything warm and memorable. You won't find a better hotel anywhere in NYC quite like this. From the service at the hotel to Eduardo's dedication to providing an excellent experience, I highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in New York.

Travelling around the world with family and chose this hotel to celebrate my 40th. Booked on Expedia as a "mystery hotel" that was heavily reduced. Prior to arrival corresponded with hotel and requested room with view that they were happy to provide. On arrival found out we did not get any price reduction but had actually just paid for the low floor rooms and if we wanted anything better we had to pay for it. We were disappointed as this was not what had been indicated.room was ok as long as you didn't open the curtain. The biggest disappointment was the lack of service. At check in the staff were more interested in talking to each other and became annoyed if you asked a question. The door man grabbed our luggage from the cab ignored the trolley walked 5 steps through the main door and dumped them at our feet and waited for his tip..two adults and 2 kids had to take our luggage upstairs...there were lots of doormen just standing around blocking the doorway, but they never bothered moving or acknowledging any patrons. The concierge was very put out when I asked if she could book some tickets and told me to just do it my self and when I asked for a map she questioned whether I really needed one. Getting a cab to the airport the doorman insisted we use a private car instead of a cab at double the cost, we refused repeatedly. He discreetly sent away cabs that would not tip him. Finally we approached a cab and got one, the cabbie explained the doorman gets a hefty tip if we use the private car. Unfortunately the staff here are probably too arrogant to care about a bad review. If you want a great and unforgettable experience go to renaissance times square, paid a similar rate last year as this hotel and got a great room and the staff ensured we had the most incredible NY experience.
