The International London Park Lane consistency delivers world class accommodation, service, and attention to detail. Would highly recommend to any traveller wanting to experience the best Mayfair has to offer. A true 5* property that you will want to visit every time you stay in the city.

Only issue is need better security outside in lobby with doormen being more vigilant when loading and off loading bags …..crime goes on and your back pack might be stolen without you knowing till later ( organized criminals out there) be aware , we experienced it first hand this morning and passports , money lost IHG better compensate something back for lack of security and hassle , they know this is happening in the area and not telling their guests is very unprofessional

This hotel is long on staff, short on service. There is plenty of staff and they certainly are friendly. But they don't provide many of what we would expect from this hotel. Two examples: There was a leak in the ceiling in one of our rooms (we had three). Water was dripping/running down. We noticed it early one day only to return later to find it worse. One would think that staff would have noticed. The person who stayed in that room did become ill with a 24 hour gastro-enteritis. Coincidence? It was late at night when we asked for help and they asked us to stay in the room while they located the problem. They should have moved us out of that room immediately...but no, we had to wait; but, we insisted. They did move us out to a nicer room...but no one helped with the move. Late at night, tired with jet lag and changing rooms after having unpacked. No help in moving. One would expect compensation for problems like these, but a half night's fee felt really skimpy. We hadn't complained that the air conditioning wasn't working properly in the room...but the staff didn't notice it despite three days of very cold temperatures in the room. Maybe the leak had something to do with the climate problem...but as noted, the leak repeated on and off for more than a day. The carpet was wet. At first we thought it was simple condensation due to a very cold room. Another time we asked for a spoon to be delivered to the room. A full set of utensils was delivered by a smiling staff member, but it took three hours. The rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable. But it takes more than a pretty room to make a 5 star stay.

Disappointing Stay — Not Worth the Price We stayed for three nights and, unfortunately, found the experience quite disappointing. While the doormen were consistently friendly and welcoming, the reception staff fell short — often curt and unhelpful. One receptionist even snapped, “Do you mind me using the desk?” as I was speaking with a colleague, in an unnecessarily rude tone. The only member of staff who stood out for their kindness and professionalism was the concierge, Victor. He was thoughtful, helpful, and gave us great local tips — a bright spot in an otherwise underwhelming experience. When we arrived at our room, an extra bed had been set up for our daughter — which came with a £60 per night surcharge. Shockingly, the sheets and pillow on that bed had visible bloodstains. Thankfully, the staff member who set up the bed was kind and quickly replaced the linens. On our final night, our room was disturbed by loud music well past 11:30 p.m. We could clearly hear songs like “Sweet Caroline” playing. When we called down, we were told — with an apology — that the music would continue for another 30 minutes. They did waive the extra bed fee for that night, which we appreciated. We love London and can’t wait to return — but we won’t be staying here again. For the price, the service and quality simply didn’t measure up.
