I stay in this hotel regularly and what is exceptional is that the service. The staff cares proactively about the visitors and make sure that nothing is problematic. They even go extra mile to cater the best service. Everyone in the team is exceptional but I wanna single out Gizem from restaurant, she always deliver top notch service and make sure to perfect the dinner experience.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. My wife and I spent our honeymoon here, and it was an incredible experience. We arrived in Istanbul during a cold season, and the warmth of the lobby made it feel cosy and inviting. The space itself was calm and beautifully designed. The staff were consistently friendly. Even before entering the hotel, we were greeted with smiles and kind words. That hospitality continued throughout our 10-day stay, making us genuinely look forward to returning to the hotel each day. The breakfast buffet was small in selection, but everything offered was of exceptional quality. Great location, outstanding service, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended. Hear me out, please. No hotel is perfect. There are always some small things that are bothersome. But, for the first time, every time I asked the staff to fix or help me with something, they literally did everything to my satisfaction, which was amazing. That’s not the case everywhere, believe me! If you see something that you don’t like, just let them know, and they will help you out in every way possible. I loved my stay there. The amenities are great: pool, spa, rooftop restaurant, bar, shisha is served everywhere, even by the pool, breakfast — everything was pretty good. Location is fantastic. I couldn’t ask for anything more. My actual rating would be 4.9. I’m taking off 0.1 point because the rooms and hallways are a little dated and worn, with old carpet, though the lobby and everywhere else is great. There were no mirrors in my room, just one in the bathroom.

We stayed at InterContinental Taksim with our toddler and overall had a pleasant experience. Although the hotel is in the Taksim area, it’s far enough from the noise, making it peaceful and relaxing. There’s a beautiful park with a playground just behind the hotel, perfect for stroller walks, and our little one loved feeding the birds at Taksim Square. The location is also very convenient, within walking distance to many attractions. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety, and the view from the terrace was breathtaking. The staff was generally friendly, though we didn’t receive any upgrade and felt the reception team’s English could be improved. The pool water was quite cold as it wasn’t heated, which was a bit disappointing. One thing to note — we were surprised at how expensive Istanbul has become. Not only the hotel, but also restaurants, supermarkets, food, and even most attractions felt overpriced. Overall, a good stay with some room for improvement.
