Hotel Indigo was a great place to stay for easy access to the French Quarter and all of general Downtown New Orleans. The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk, Audubon Aquarium, and a vast array of shops and sights were all within a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The rooms were a little small but very cute and clean. Noise was minimal to none and provided no issues for a peaceful sleep. Staff was helpful and enjoyable. The restaurant/bar downstairs had some great options. The Harvest Bowl in particular was very yummy. Also, the little convenience store in the lobby was well-stocked and had a microwave on hand. There was no parking for the hotel itself, but they do have a paid valet parking service. If you would like to find parking yourself, there is a garage a few blocks down that offers a pretty direct route to the hotel, at 1010 Common St. Garage on Roosevelt Way. Overnight parking was $25, which was on the cheaper end from other enclosed garages offering parking for $35-$40 per night.

Had everything going for it other than a lot of homeless camped out surrounding the hotel. Many other hotels face this in New Orleans in the area however. Great hospitality and beds, pillows decent but a little thick for us front/side sleepers. Made it work

Rooms were clean. Smaller then I expected (pictures can be deceiving). Housekeeping was a little slow- ask for extra towels that morning- had to ask 3 times and received them that afternoon. The front desk was great! In a great location! Restaurants, shops, Canal and Bourbon St. Minutes away- walking! I recommend this stay!

We're long-term platinum IHG members and we've always chosen IHG whenever possible. We travel quite frequently for both work and fun, but we've never had such a terrible experience at one of the brand's hotels. We arrived tonight at 11:03pm and when we got to our room, we thought it was beautiful and very clean. However, the curtains were broken and wouldn't close. No big deal. We get it- it happens. We promptly went down to the front desk to have someone come to fix the issue. It took over 20 minutes for someone to come and verify they were broken and tell us we'd have to switch rooms. Mind you, they're not busy; it's literally the middle of the night. He said it would be a fast change and the front desk would call when it was ready. We never got that call. I finally called down after waiting nearly 30 minutes to find out the front desk was waiting for the maintenance man to bring us our new keys instead. It was completely unnecessary to put this back on the maintenance man to do when we already had to pack all of our stuff up and get in the elevator anyway. When we came down, the man at the front desk was sitting and watching videos on YouTube rather than doing his job. Then, when we finally get into our new room, now after midnight, the fan from the air conditioner is making an obnoxiously loud noise. This has been an absolutely awful experience and it's only been a little over an hour now. We booked the room for six nights and now we're stuck having to deal with this. We are exhausted after having traveled all day and have plans very early the next morning. To say this was an inconvenience is an understatement.
