Rooms are small but nice. Decor is interesting. Location is great! Couple mins walk from NY subway. Katz Deli is literally on the street corner. Rooms are quiet except if your located near any of the bars located on the permises.

Ok I almost cry to take a star down due to the breakfast only!! Positive are the most!! Is a great location, a very lively neighborhood, the hotel is the good room spacious and clean, a nice rooftop bar and friendly staff. The only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast and is the only reason i took down a star. Is more like fastfood and with credits in which we always hat to pay extra (without having order a lot) so, i’m sure this can improve. Another very positive thing is that they had shampoo, conditioner and body lotion out of the box fragrances, felt great on the body and hair. We recommend it and we would also definitely come back. UPDATE: We were a bit disappointed that, on several occasions, we were unable to use the rooftop terrace and pool in the afternoon or evening due to private events. As hotel guests, we expected to have regular access to these common areas throughout our stay. While we understand the need to host events, it would be appreciated if guest access wasn’t so limited, or if clearer communication about availability was provided in advance.

Are you a young 20 something looking to club until 3 am, and then conveniently stumble back into your room just a few floors below? Then this is the place for you. Everyone else, steer clear. If you are placed within 3 floors of the club on floor 14 or Mr. Purple on 15 (same floor as the pool), switch rooms. We were directly below the club the first night and couldn’t sleep between 11pm and 4am. They do not disclose to you when booking how loud the bass is. I could feel it vibrating the bed. I would feel much better about this hotel if they warned you that certain floors were truly uninhabitable for sleeping purposes. On the upside, the bed was quite comfortable and the rooms are nice; sleep could be had once we got moved to the 8th floor on the second night, which was easy since the staff is used to such complaints. City views were very nice, but the street outside is also very chaotic and loud until around 3am. No lounge area and you have to go to the club floor for a restroom, so definitely fewer hotel amenities than other hotels at a similar price point. Overall would not recommend.

My mom came to visit me in the city for July 4th weekend and stayed at this hotel. She stayed in room 415. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms were gross, considerably worn, pool lack-luster, and we both injured ourselves trying to close the bathroom door. In the end, it was not worth the costly nightly rate considering these factors. First, the rooms were not very clean. We found straight long hairs on the sheets even though we both have short curly hair. The floors were covered in scratches and what looked like caked on dirt. We ended up buying slippers because we felt uncomfortable walking around bare foot (see photos). I found chewed green bubble gum on the side of one of the portraits near the head of the bed (see photo). The chairs in the room were so worn that they were missing paint on both of the arms. While that did not hinder the use of the chairs, it was just confusing why the hotel charged so much for such dated, low quality furniture (see photos). Lastly, the bathroom door was ridiculous. It was SO heavy. It was also a sliding door. So when we tried to close it, we had to pull on the handle forcefully to get it to move. Once it began moving, it had so much momentum that it was hard to stop and whoever built the handle positioned it too close to the door frame. In the end, our hand would get slammed between the heavy door and the door frame. It was hard to avoid as a result of the weight of the door and the misplaced door handle (see photo). The hotel should consider fixing this for the safety of its patrons. I know that this hotel has the charm of the rooftop pool but it’s the size of a postage stamp and was overrun with children. The children were lovely but the crowded space meant that the pool was not as easy to use. Again, it wasn’t worth staying at the hotel if you can find something else.
