Staff is very welcoming and proactive. The rooms are spacious with excellent amenities. Beds have superior mattrasses and heating. The value on weekdays is unbeatable. The downside is however that the excellent restaurant is closed Mon-Wed and there are no other options available in the village, which means you have to make the drive to Blackheath for lunch and dinner.

No major faults, Lexi, Michael and all the staff were fabulous. We loved our stay. The food was delicious. Beds comfortable and room spacious. If I was going to make any other comments I would suggest the heater in the room be up higher and an extra seat in the room so a second person has somewhere to sit other than the bed. As the parents if a young adult with Autism I commend the hotels philosophy on Room For All. We will be spreading the word about this beautiful gem in the mountains.

Stayed here at the start of winter and was genuinely impressed. The hotel blends modern comforts with the character of its late 1800s architecture, beautiful details throughout the space, without feeling outdated. The food was immaculate, both in the restaurant and the catered event. What made it even better was the heart behind it all, the staff included people with disabilities, which gave the whole night a sense of purpose beyond just service. Live music added a great atmosphere and made the evening feel even more special. Mount Victoria can get seriously cold, but the fireplaces, heating, and thick blankets made the whole place feel cosy and inviting. The bar was a standout too, great drinks, great vibe, and bar staff who were just as warm as the rooms. Would absolutely stay again. A meaningful, memorable experience in a really special place.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the old world charm. The service was good and we thought the trainee program for people with a disability was great. The menu at dinner was a reduced menu - we still enjoyed it but would like to come back when the full menu is available. Our only disappointment was the lack of sufficient heating. We had the heater up to full in bedroom - no heating in bathroom and it was very cold. The shared spaces and restaurant only had 1 fire and was that cold that many people including staff had to wear coats. There are so many unused fireplaces to easily rectify this situation, so good idea for warmth for guests that are not acclimatised to Mt Victoria temperatures! Otherwise thank you for a lovely stay.
